Artem really outdid himself with this course! I've been recommending it to every one of my colleagues interested in learning Playwright because the API Testing Mastery course goes far beyond "just reading the docs". He begins by acknowledging that Playwright was not designed to be an API testing giant, and instead most of its features are focused on delivering a top-notch end-to-end/UI testing experience.

But he doesn't relent. He shows you how you can extend Playwright's capabilities using TypeScript, Node.js, and a few choice libraries to match the performance of the most competitive API testing tools on the market. He teaches you how to create a smooth DX with a request builder pattern, detailed logging, schema validation, among other things Playwright doesn't offer out-of-the-box.

It's a creative, innovative, and bold approach to using Playwright for API testing, and he gives credit where it's due when he drew inspiration from other community members like Butch Mayhew. I've personally test-driven the solution he teaches in this course at my most recent company, and it helped the team scale API test automation with ease. No alterations to the framework were necessary to keep it working with a large production codebase, only occasional extensions like adding a PATCH method to the RequestHandler class.

I can't recommend this course enough. It's a fantastic bridge into higher-level SDET work for QA Engineers used to mostly writing test scripts for their job. In this way, I see it was a great way to help more junior QA Engineers grow their careers. Read less

The first time I took one of Artem's courses was the Cypress course on Udemy. I was impressed by how clear and concise his teaching style was. Even though Cypress and JavaScript were completely new to me, I thoroughly enjoyed the learning process and was able to apply the knowledge at work right after completing the course.When the Playwright class on Bondar Academy became available, it was an easy decision to enroll. I haven’t regretted it for a second! In addition to the lectures, students get hands-on experience with real projects. I write code, create PRs for review, and let me tell you—this is no joke. The course content was professionally presented, well-structured, and perfect for beginners. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at teaching complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner. After passing the topic I like to check myself on the Self-assessments (Tests with a,b,c,d answers). This clearly shows that I need to rewatch the video and helps to remember the material well.
Also, the last lesson Difference between TypeScript & Javascript was very useful for me and filled gaps in my knowledge.
Moreover, the support at Bondar Academy was great. The live chat was always available to assist with any technical issues or questions I had. If you are lucky, the author of the course, Artem Bondar, could answer you personally. I was pleasantly surprised.

I completed this course in about 3 weeks. It gave me a solid foundation for understanding API testing of web applications and new vision of testing framework for API testing. The author promised to take into account the changes I suggested to improve the course and even helped me solve my problem. This SDET with Playwright course gave me much more knowledge and confidence than any other course I have taken before.

The main thing is PRACTICE! By practice, I don’t just mean repeat the code entry with the course instructor or write the code yourself. It finally worked out when I got a premium subscription to the SDET with Playwright course and had real automation tasks with Artem’s feedback later.

Artem’s PR review is a treasure! He always explains clearly and answers all questions. Even if something is unclear, he explains the problem in other words so that I can really understand why it needs to be fixed and how.

Artem and other students are also available in a private Slack channel, so I can search for common problems in the chat or ask Artem for support if my problem is still exists. His response has always been fast, detailed, and helpful.

A code review from an experienced person is what really saves you time on the path to QA automation! That’s why this Premium subscription was so useful! My experience:Artem is an excellent instructor and mentor.  He explains things in a way that simplifies advanced concepts, while providing personalized guidance.  The lab work was the big seller for me, as it provided a way to practice what was just taught, directly.  Indeed, this made a difference, but the true impact was through Artem’s code reviews.  By emphasizing best practices, I learned skills that go well beyond the scopes of QA and Playwright.  This allowed me to create saner code at work and lead automation efforts.  I am grateful that I found this course, as it definitely accelerated my career. I've known Artem Bondar for a couple of years, even before Bondar Academy was established. Previously, I learned Cypress and Karate on Udemy, so I was excited to hear that Artem had opened his own academy. The course is well-structured, starting with the basics of Playwright and TypeScript and progressively covering more advanced topics like cross-browser testing and handling dynamic content. Each module builds on the previous one, making it easy to follow.

After completing self-assessments, the instructor assigns homework tasks for each new topic, requiring you to submit a pull request for review. The feedback provided by the instructors is organized and structured, which is a method not commonly followed by other academies—where often, follow-up is minimal. One of the highlights of the course was the hands-on practice sessions. I appreciated the numerous coding exercises, which allowed me to immediately apply what I learned.
