Code Tenderloin offers online Code Ramp (6 week), Code Ramp ++ (6 week), and SOAR Sales (4 week) bootcamps. Code Tenderloin also offers an online, 3-day job readiness workshop designed to help participants improve self perception and demystify the modern workplace in order to gain long term employment. All Code Tenderloin bootcamps and job readiness workshops are completely free.
For students who are new to coding, Code Tenderloin offers a 3-week Pre-Code Ramp bootcamp offering an introduction to HTML and CSS. Code Ramp students will learn JavaScript and basic programming concepts.Code Ramp++ bootcamp students will dig deeper into JavaScript and will be prepared to go on to a software engineering bootcamp if desired.
SOAR Sales students will learn the basics of sales processes and methodologies. Live online bootcamp classes are held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm-9 pm. Upon SOAR Sales bootcamp completion, students will have the opportunity to network with sales and recruiting professionals and will be paired with recruiting companies for hiring opportunities.
All applicants are welcome to apply, including those with a previous history of substance abuse, mental health, low education level, and criminal records. To join Code Tenderloin bootcamps, students must first complete job readiness requirements.
Code Tenderloin offers career readiness assistance including soft skill practice, resume creation, interview preparation, and 1:1 mentorship led by professionals from leading Bay Area tech companies. Code Tenderloin also offers job placement assistance through partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits. Code Tenderloin also assists bootcamp students by covering transportation costs to jobs and interviews.
Code Tenderloin partners with several organizations, including Glide, St. Anthony’s Foundation, Compass Family Services, Tech Credit Union, and the Public Defender's office in order to remove barriers to success and provide bootcamp students with holistic social, financial, legal, and emotional support.
