Blockchain Cases is an advanced level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn public blockchain initiatives, smart contract programming, DAO, public and private blockchain platforms, non-technical blockchain challenges, and CryptoKitties. Students will discover how to create a game by combining a set of smart contracts and a dApp. Students will synthesize the various practices available for smart contract development, including DAOs, oracles and tokenization. Students also learn to analyze how blockchain technology could benefit law firms and corporate legal departments. Finally, students will analyze how Ernst & Young and Microsoft decided whether or not a blockchain was worth implementing.

Blockchain Foundations and Framework is a beginner level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn about the four fundamentals of blockchain interconnect, bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, utility and security tokens, cryptocurrency barriers to entry, and successful and failed blockchain initiatives. Students will learn how to use blockchain to solve business challenges. Students will analyze a business problem to determine the appropriate choice of blockchain technologies: contract systems, public versus private chain, token type and underlying platforms and describe the different options available for account security on the blockchain. Students also learn to identify the different features of DAOs. Finally, students learn to identify the factors of scaling blockchains, including the associated problems and solutions.

Building a Red Team Capability is an advanced level, four-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum introduces students to strategies to test an organization's ability to detect cyberattacks. Students will differentiate the red team from penetration testing and describe the goals and objectives of a red team function and the key ingredients for making a red team effective. Students will weigh the pros and cons of insourcing versus outsourcing the red team function, determine the skills and tools needed to build a red team function and explain where the red team fits within their security team. Finally, students will learn how to leverage the Mitre ATT&CK framework for the red team and blue team and identify different ways of leveraging ATT&CK for red team exercises. Students will be able to use metrics to measure trends over time and apply those metrics to gauge the effectiveness and value of red team exercises.

Building a Threat Hunting Capability is an advanced level, four-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum introduces students to rapid response techniques to mitigate damage resulting from a cyberattack. Students will explain the key steps and ingredients involved in building and maximizing a threat hunting function inside your current program. Students will create a sound hunt hypothesis and explain how available tools can become the limiting factor in developing valid hypotheses, and describe the role and functionality of MitreAtt&ck in the hunting process. Finally, students will explain the purpose and key components of the hunting maturity model and its relationship to the pyramid of pain. Students will be able to use metrics to measure their team's threat hunting effectiveness and trends over time and justify the investment in time and money and its value to leadership using metrics.

Cloud security is an advanced level, four-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum focuses on the intricacies of security programs in cloud environments and the strategic measures necessary to protect a company’s digital assets. Students learn to identify key similarities and differences between on-premises systems and cloud-based services and apply appropriate security controls in cloud environments. Students will find cloud design elements and requirements for safeguarding data and explain the importance of threat modeling to identify possible vulnerabilities in a cloud environment. Finally, students will develop a protocol for monitoring their cloud instances and explain the critical information and management structure needed to create an effective policy that can be enforced.

Cybersecurity Awareness is a beginner level, four-module, self-paced online course from world-renowned cybersecurity leader, Mandiant, a FireEye company. Designed for both non-technical and technical learners, this course covers security risk management, measurement and communications. Participants will join Mandiant experts in an exploration of security architecture topics addressing conventional security practices and tools used to monitor and protect mature organizations. They will also identify common attacker methodologies, and how an attacker enters, persists, and exfiltrates data from an organization via the attack lifecycle. Students will learn to establish governance that will provide guidance and oversight to their cybersecurity program, and assess its risks.

Cybersecurity Cases is an advanced level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn how to critically analyze and vet paid threat intelligence to be used in their company, curate and package threat intelligence for business leaders, and develop a clear framework for assessing the reliability and validity of open-source intelligence. Students will perform an advanced case study of financially motivated FIN 7, supply chain, and e-commerce attacks. Students will also learn automation and will be able to list the steps for automating security processes and the procedures for detecting and resolving attacks. Students will summarize how to leverage resources (people, products, services, funds) for incorporating a cybersecurity plan into a new business initiative, design a preventative strategy for ensuring the protection of customer data and information, and assess risk in a merger and acquisition transaction. Finally, students will perform an advanced case study of a critical infrastructure attack.

Cybersecurity Foundations and Framework is a beginner level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn about the threat landscape, types of attacks and cybersecurity risks, countermeasures and security functions, identifying cyber threats and the attack life cycle, attacker motivations and the threat to organizations, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and legal and compliance aspects of cybersecurity. Students will have the opportunity to apply knowledge of their organization to assess security gaps and vulnerabilities.

Cybersecurity Risks and Industry is an intermediate level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn how to create security policies and handle exceptions, create a culture of security, build a security architecture foundation, prioritize security technology, and develop an incident response plan. Students will have the opportunity to identify strategies their company can implement to prevent future cyberattacks.

Cyber Threat Intelligence is an advanced level, four-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum aims to sharpen students' decision-making ability by exploring the complex forms that contemporary threat intelligence can take and examining real-world examples of threat intelligence in action. Students will identify sources of threat intelligence and develop a threat intelligence collection practice. Students will determine the integrity, bias and priority of sources, as well as their applicability to their industry and organization. Finally, students will build a process for adding threat intelligence into security monitoring and explain the Traffic Light Protocol (TLP) concept as it applies to operational security. Students will be able to identify strategies for storing and maintaining threat intelligence and explain the benefits of creating a robust threat intelligence storage system.

Healthcare Analytics Foundations and Frameworks is a beginner level, four-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum offers students a strong understanding of the ways in which data and statistics are used to dictate best practices, and how healthcare professionals use technology to sort through big data and utilize it to improve patient outcomes. Students will discuss the role of healthcare analytics and how it relates to healthcare informatics, list the value-based programs and understand how they can be used to measure healthcare performance. They will examine how advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques can be used to analyze imaging and clinical data, and define text mining, detailing how it can be used to analyze unstructured data in EHRs. Finally, students will analyze the ethical implications and limitations of healthcare analytics by examining the ways that predictive analytics can be applied across the care continuum for a disease.

Healthcare Informatics Foundations and Frameworks is a beginner level, eight-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum offers students a strong understanding of the digital health space and how to best leverage data-driven initiatives and technology to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. Students will discuss the relative strengths and weaknesses of the U.S. healthcare system and examine the legislation and policies that are relevant to privacy in healthcare informatics. Students will classify different types and formats of healthcare-related data, analyze publicly available healthcare datasets and their utility in healthcare informatics. They will also discuss how health information is exchanged across healthcare organizations and explore the Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR) API and its role in healthcare informatics. Finally, students will analyze the various value-based healthcare incentive programs and their financial impact on healthcare systems and discuss how telemedicine, AI, wearables, sensors, and software applications can improve healthcare outcomes.

Machine Learning and Industry is an intermediate level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Students learn agile project management, imperative and declarative languages, explicit and heuristic algorithms, database systems, batch processing, interactive processing, API standards, and data governance. Students discuss the benefits and limitations of proprietary versus open-source systems, and describe the role of algorithms and data structures in object-oriented programming. Students design a relational data model, a document database model, and a graph database model. Finally, students discuss data encryption and blockchain technologies and discuss issues in privacy protection.

Machine Learning Cases is an advanced level, eight-week, self-paced online course. The curriculum focuses on practical learning scenarios developed from real-world cases. Students will utilize insights gained from these scenarios to select the right system architectures and apply machine learning appropriately based on business requirements. The bootcamp curriculum covers forecasting models, financial engineering, competitive intelligence, anomaly and fraud detection, operations and logistics, product design and pricing, image processing and natural language processing, knowledge-based systems, and intelligent agents and robotics.

Machine Learning Foundations and Framework is a beginner level, eight-week, self-paced online course. Bootcamp students will illustrate supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning; develop research plans for classification and regression; interpret research results from machine learning; and recommend deep learning methods for intelligent systems. Students will learn how to justify methods of data selection, design sampling and resampling plans, recommend methods for correcting bias and variance, and interpret results from model training and testing. Students will illustrate methods for measuring distance between objects, contrast partitioning and hierarchical methods of cluster analysis, describe methods of dimension reduction, and design machine learning methods for autoencoders. Finally, students will contrast logic programming and machine learning approaches to artificial intelligence, design research for image processing, design research for natural language processing, and evaluate methods for machine intelligence.

Network Traffic Analysis is an advanced level, four-module, online course from world-renowned cybersecurity leader, Mandiant. The curriculum offers students a thorough and robust understanding of packet analysis through a foundation in network protocols and the tools and techniques used to analyze them. Unique to this course with Mandiant are the four live lab sessions paired with each instructional module, allowing online learners to connect directly with Mandiant experts. Students will review basic Linux commands and concepts, conduct basic Wireshark analysis and use the OSI TCP/IP model to determine what portions of the packet header are located at specific layers. Students will analyze HTTP traffic, binary protocols and DNS protocol to include different types of records, and describe what they look like on the wire, and their use in the attacker lifecycle. Students will create a network topology and conduct analysis using NetFlow and tools and non-Wireshark tools. Students will also identify Snort rule and Surricata options and create Snort signatures.

Windows Enterprise Incident Response is an advanced level, four-module, self-paced online course from world-renowned cybersecurity leader, Mandiant, a FireEye company. The curriculum teaches students the fundamental investigative techniques needed to respond to cyber threats. Although this course is focused on Windows-based systems and servers, the techniques and investigative processes can be applied to all systems and applications. Students will join Mandiant experts in detailed discussions of common forms of endpoint, network and file-based forensic evidence collection and their limitations. Participants will identify core sources of evidence and then analyze the collected evidence, differentiating between single system and enterprise evidence. They will also combine evidence from multiple systems to construct a more complete narrative of an attack and then scope the incident through the attack lifecycle. Students will strategize a response plan, explaining the considerations of remediation timing, and then develop and implement a threat hunting program.
