“Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions” provided by “Great Learning” and “MIT-IDSS” is a journey in itself. It is an incredible experience of ten weeks with honest and disciplined learning. I have done many online programs during the last two years, but I genuinely agreed with the fact that this program is different in itself. The program material, level of quizzes, project work all were designed considering one’s learning speed, workload, and capacity to achieve. The best part was that I learned Python programming during the pre-course work, which helped me to understand data visualization techniques and their applications in building Machine Learning (ML) models. We learners also got a chance to connect with other enthusiastic people across the globe during the mentor sessions of the program. It was indeed a great practice knowing how people are evolving themselves in the world of data science. Thanks to wonderful mentors, who provided generous support throughout the program. I must insist on people taking this program and have faith in “Great Learning”. I took the Stanford Advanced Cybersecurity Program with Great Learning. The program was excellent. It is very comprehensive. The professors and speakers are the best in the field and industry. Great Learning provides mentor sessions which are very helpful.  The program and project management support at Great Learning really were very responsive and very helpful. I learned a great deal about Cyber Security both in breadth as well as in depth. It is not an easy program and that's what makes it so valuable in terms of learning as well as a credential.  If you study you will make it through the program.  I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn about cybersecurity.  Read less

Joining this course in one of my best decision's in my life. I was skeptical and have put lot of thought into it before joining. The course is structured very  well and is very methodical. All the mentors in the group are very experienced and best in the industry.
            All my doubts were answered just but raising a help desk ticket. The quizzes and projects were organized to meet industry standards and it helped me connect all the dots with every project. 
      The support I received during the course by my program coordinator was awesome. It was a real blessing to have him as my coordinator. He was very understanding and supportive of all my decisions.

The course is structured in such a way that a learner comes across each concept several times. A learner first sees the pre-recorded videos from each module from MIT professors. Then they go through additional reading materials. By this time, a learner already has a good grasp of the newly learned concept before attending the live private mentor learning session. Here the mentor goes through the concepts once more in-depth and clears the doubts. Another optional mentor learning session takes place where the mentor explains a real live project and how that is solved. Then finally, another round of study of the quiz.
I can not remember any time of my life before, where I learned so so much in a short period of time. If anyone likes to get holds on the machine learning topic very fast and effectively, this is the right place. This course is expensive but totally worth it. Read less

There are courses and then there is DSML by Great Learning/MIT. This one is guaranteed to exceed your expectations from the scope of content covered, the depth of content in every week, and hands-on coding, the theory covered by MIT professors, support from actual data-scientists and always supported by great Program Managers. The course instructors are always available to go into depth on any topic of your choice and cover the details from their experiences. It was fun to dig into code again after many years. This course is better than reading 10 fluffy books, blogs on various DSML topics or other off-the-shelf courses. Mind you, it is intense, not at all easy, and lasts 3 months long - Looking forward to be done after this weekend! Read less

Before making my final decision to enroll in the post-graduate program - data science and business analytics with great learning, I did further research and linked the expected outcomes to my career and how possible that it could make a positive impact in the way I can deliver work to my clients.

No doubt that I found the program difficult in the beginning as I don’t have a programming background, we reached a point during the journey where I found it very difficult to cope with my learner colleagues, but I was very determined to continue the journey and progress in the program because I believed the expected outcomes exceed my expectations and found the program very helpful in my career progression in all means.

Though it was a very challenging journey, it was worth it. I found how powerful is the programming in revealing business issues and representing them visually in a very attractive dashboard. The value of this program is countless! Read less

This is my third course with great learning’s way of learning which I believe is awesome. In addition to recorded lectures, their way of periodic mentored learning sessions, through tremendously capable industry people in addition to recorded courses is very very helpful and provides a platform where students can interact to clear any doubts and enhance learning. Additionally, supported project work cement the concepts so that they stay with the learner for a long time.  Just the fact that I am at my third consecutive course with the team is a testament itself of how valuable I have found Great Learning’s way of transferring knowledge. I enrolled in the course during the pandemic period to learn about data science which is emerging in recent periods. In the initial stage of the program concentrate on the basics of python programming.
The program supporting teams and curriculum is designed to keep up the phase throughout the course, especially during the project discussion forum helps in clarifying the doubts and motivated to complete it on time.
Mentor learning sessions are good if you get a knowledgeable person. It tops up the subject knowledge which you learned during that week’s lectures and videos. It is one of the major pros of this program.
The cons of this program are they have to improve their notes and lecture videos in the initial modules to enable the students to understand better about the concept who are new to programming and data science.
The portal which they are using should be user-friendly and interactive. Overall it is a very good course who is aspiring to become a Data Scientist.

It was a very great experience for me during the 10 weeks that i took part in the Data Science and Machine Learning course: Making Data driven Decisions with MIT-IDSS. For a beginner like myself, i found the structure of the curriculum very grounded and suitable for me to follow along. The faculty and mostly the great learning team were very helpful and along every step of the way.

I found the experience and support very exiting that i have enrolled in the PDG-Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning by Great Learning and UT Austin Texas. The level of support from all the great learning team is just as great as i expected.

Helped me pick up python fast and effectively starting from the basics and elaborated to apply the analysis of data for business purposes. 

Assignments and references help you counter reference the entire moduel to help learn efficiently, clear doubts and answer questions. Well formatted course to help guide your learning journey. 

Videos are also very in depth explanitory with intelligent teachers who have alot of wisdom who teach to apply real life situations in real life work examples using data science and bussiness analytics. 

The weekly zoom cohorts are fun and interactive with the teacher showing multiple methods in depth and clearing doubts/questions. Reza Nickmanesh is an excellent teacher and answers questions accurately and explains why. 

Excellent staff that ensure you are on track to passing. They also make sure you are using the platform to it's full potential and are using your time efficiently. My program manager Paridhi Malhotra, was the best at keeping me on point and checking my progress throughout the modules. 

 The entire community is very helpful, let's you communicate with your classmates to give a real life work experience. 
Would recommend for any beginner who has some extensive mathematical experience as well as a business background to have a better understanding of the business application aspect.

I enjoyed the PGAIML course thoroughly. There was a balance between concepts and applicability of the techniques in python. The pace of teaching and the spacing between the projects was quite manageable with my work schedule. The periodic interactions with peers, the course manager, the projects, the quizzes all helped build my accountability towards my learning journey.
