I followed the course “No Code AI and Machine Learning: Building Data Science Solutions” by MIT Professional Education, delivered by Great Learning, from September 2025 to January 2026, and found it to be extremely valuable. The course content was very well structured and relevant, providing a solid foundation in AI and machine learning concepts without requiring prior coding expertise.  The lecturers and mentors were excellent —knowledgeable, engaging, and always able to explain complex concepts in a clear and practical manner.  The organisation of the course and the learner support were also very good, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated learning experience throughout.  The online platform was user-friendly, with good functionalities and overall usability, making it easy to access learning materials, track progress, and interact during the course.  The quizzes, exercises, and assignments were concise and well targeted, helping to reinforce understanding of the key concepts, tools, and techniques covered. Overall, the course significantly improved my understanding of AI and its underlying concepts, and it has equipped me with the confidence to apply these learnings in my professional context.  I would highly recommend this course to anyone, whether they are from an IT background or not, who wishes to gain a clear and practical understanding of artificial intelligence and its real-world applications. I can confidently say that, although the journey was demanding and required real commitment, the program fully delivered on its promise.

The video lectures recorded by the MIT faculty were of outstanding quality: conceptually rigorous, yet clearly explained and well adapted to a non-academic audience, without compromising depth or substance. When I began the course, I didn’t know what to expect. I was an AI and machine learning (ML) novice, and I’ve never been particularly tech-savvy. I also didn’t know how it correlated with my work as a healthcare professional working in the nonprofit sector. One of my colleagues recommended I give it a try, and I am so glad I did! The combination of live instruction, recorded sessions, relevant course, material, assessments, and assignments, and incredible program support staff helped me to keep up with the pace and grasp key concepts. The seven-month structure kept a strong pace without feeling overwhelming, and the combination of lectures and weekly live sessions made advanced concepts approachable. This course is an excellent starting point for anyone looking to enter the AI field. My honest recommendation for prospective learners is to be mindful of the time commitment required. I missed a couple of assignments due to a business trip, and it was challenging to catch up, so make sure you balance work, life, and course assignments.
In terms of content, the material and terminology are impressively well curated. However, if you’re not comfortable with math, some concepts may be harder to follow. The assignments and tests are manageable, but they require extra attention—especially during video lectures and mentored learning sessions—to fully grasp the terminology and key ideas.
The faculty are industry experts. Please note that multiple instructors deliver the lectures, so teaching styles vary; it’s helpful to rely on your assigned mentor for consistency and guidance.
Regarding price, I believe the course offers strong value. It is comprehensive and thoughtfully designed. The no‑code tools used are completely free, so there are no extra licensing costs. You are also assigned a Program Manager who can assist with any issues, including platform support. The platform itself is clean, minimalistic, and straightforward to use.

The Business Interpretation track is especially well designed — ideal for professionals who want to understand AI and ML deeply without needing to code.


Throughout the program, I was juggling major life changes, including a move to Japan and daily family responsibilities. Despite this, the pacing, structure, and accessibility of the material helped me stay consistently engaged and on track. The Great Learning team checked in often, offered encouragement, and made it clear they cared about each learner’s success.

The curriculum is comprehensive, covering a wide range of AI and ML concepts through video lectures delivered directly by MIT professors with deep expertise in the field.The program requires a significant time commitment — in my experience, at least 1–2 hours daily and 4 hours on weekends, with additional effort needed for projects. While the aggressive timeline can be challenging, it ensures that students stay consistently engaged. At times, I had to revisit lectures multiple times to fully grasp complex concepts, but the mentor sessions at the end of each week provided valuable guidance and clarification.The inclusion of case studies and optional hands-on sessions with AI tools further enriched the learning experience, allowing practical application of theoretical knowledge. The learning portal is well-structured, and the quality of content is excellent.Overall, the program delivers exceptional value through world-class instruction and a packed curriculum. The only drawback is the fast-paced schedule, which may feel demanding for working professionals. I recently completed the Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions program offered by MIT IDSS through Great Learning, and I found it to be a genuinely enriching and well-supported learning experience. The course is rigorous and demands more than the suggested 8 hours per week if you want to fully absorb the material, but that’s part of what makes it so rewarding.



The teaching model is one of the program’s strongest points: short videos followed by immediate questions, then a set of practical exercises. This format really helps solidify concepts and makes the learning journey engaging and effective. It’s a key differentiator that sets this course apart from many others.



In terms of support, the Great Learning team is exceptional. They are always attentive, quick to help, and flexible whenever you need extra time or assistance. This level of personalized attention makes a big difference and justifies the premium pricing, creating a warm and supportive learning environment.



As an honest piece of feedback, there are a couple of areas that could be refined. For instance, while most modules use the short-video format effectively, some modules still have longer videos that could be broken down further to maintain the same dynamic flow. Shorter segments with quick questions in between are incredibly effective, and applying this approach more consistently would make the experience even better.



In addition, while I personally found the hands-on projects to be the highlight of the course—allowing me to explore data and build models in a deeply satisfying way—I did notice that some projects had more rigid guidelines that limited a bit of creative freedom. It might be nice to balance structure with a bit more flexibility in those assignments.



Overall, I highly recommend the program. It’s a top-notch experience with a strong support system and a teaching approach that truly helps students learn. With a few minor tweaks, it could be even better, but it’s already an excellent choice for anyone serious about data science and machine learning. Read less
