Teaching people with no IT background how to code a full stack web application in a mere 4 months is not an easy task. I would say what Hacktiv8 does, in its FSJS coding bootcamp, is very good if not excellent. Sure enough, anybody can follow along on a 7 to 8 hours full stack coding tutorial on Youtube to create a full stack web application. But, unless you already have some understandings on the technology used, more often than not, you will end up not learning anything at the end. What I like about Hacktiv8's FSJS program is that it emphasizes on practical knowledge without skimming over the necessary technical ones. When a new technology is taught, it always comes with the why that particular technology is taught and how to best utilize it. So when we actually learned something, it does not feel like we learn and implement it because we are told to do so, but we actually know why it is a good idea to use it in that scenario to some degree. Have joined the UI/UX program at hacktiv8 for 3 months. The program and materials provided are so good and solid that it is very easy to understand and understand in a short time. The mentors are fun and very communicative. Especially the buddies mentor which they assisted us throughout the bootcamp. Love how reliable they are. Love the study mateials too! It's such a shame the bootcamp only lasted 2 months. I think that's all I can say. Read less
