I have never studied online coding course before until I joined Hyperion. But I’ve been attending coding course at I Learn to Live, where they’ve shown me basics about coding, such as HTML, PHP and CSS. It was a two month basic course which I enjoyed. That’s why I chose to continue with coding. Now I am with Hyperion course’s and I am happy to the part of the course. I love new challenges its helps with mental capabilities. The mentor Mr Masood is very attentive. The most difficulties I am facing in the course is depth of English they using, so English is my second language. The course can be more fun and enjoyable to do if they can ease up on the English, but anyone can join the course it is fun and its keeps the mind busy.

It is my first time doing online coding course and it is a great experience for me, and also the python code is a powerful language to learn. I have gained a lot in python, I learned that before writing my python code I can have my pseudo code first. I did scratch (kids coding) and also html before. The Hyperion course is good and enjoyable. Having a mentor and having a webinar help and make the course easy, but if we can have more of the webinars I think it will be more easy and enjoyable to learn python code. Python is a good language to learn, it is a code written in simple English, anyone can read the code. Sometimes I find it difficult to understand what the question is asking because high level of English is used. English is my second language. Maybe if simple English is used, anyone can simple understand what is expected. Hyperion is offering a good and powerful course that anyone can master, Doing Hyperion course you can become a great coder.

Hyperion Development offers a coding education that is not otherwise offered in South Africa (as far as I know). The quality of the material is great and up to date and the 1-on-1 support offered by their mentors is great for getting through difficult parts. They offer a wide array of certificates, from web development to some data science. As far as coding schools go, you can't go wrong with this one.

As someone who started coding with not a clue of what to do, I can confidently say that I have learned so much through HyperionDevs bootcamp. They break everything down to assure comprehension and in the case that you happen to struggle with a topic, they provide multiple lectures and constant mentor support as well as career coaching. The program definitely makes you feel secure in what you're learning and your capabilities. I have recently gained a position as an entry level engineering tech with the help of what I've learned from this bootcamp. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to jumpstart their coding career! I am almost done with my software engineering bootcamp and must say I've came a long way from day one with the help of the tasks and mentors. The tasks are challenging but you always have mentors on standby to book a one on one session with to help you overcome any challenges and give you feedback on your work. i have gained far more from this bootcamp than expected and was well guided by the many mentors and other members of support that they offer.If you are ever thnking of getting into code and or learning a new form of code i would highly recommend this bootcamp to you. The only thing i could comment on is that even tho the mentor sessions are done to standerd it can leave you lost some times due to the fact that mentors often have to dance around the answer which can be very difficult to rap your mind around. I honestly didn't know what to expect heading into my Software Engineering course bar from that I'm going to be doing some coding, which was something I was alread  familiar with. But what I got was much more. I gained a greater understanding to coding. Specifically Python which I had zero experience with but the help of HyperionDev and mentors, I obtained the the skills to pretty much back myself to do almost anything and everything related to it. I learned how interesting and enjoyable programming can really be. What I enjoyed the most about the course, was how precise and comprehensive the curriculum was to understand. And when I faced difficulties the mentors were always there to lend a helping hand even when I done everything correctly, I was shown ways to better improve certain aspect of my work. I'm yet to make use of the career guidance but I'm certain the support will be just good as the course support was. I recently attended a data science bootcamp that offered a mixed bag of experiences. The program had its strengths, but it wasn't without its shortcomings. Some materials lacked detail, leaving me searching for additional informationThe tutorial videos emerged as a saving grace, effectively simplifying intricate topics and enhancing my understanding. They provided practical insights that bridged the gaps created by unclear resources. On the downside, the inconsistency in the difficulty of the content was noticeable. While certain segments were a breeze to grasp, others left me grappling with ambiguity.In summary, the data science bootcamp was a valuable experience overall, striking a balance between informative sessions and confusing resources. Great experience and support from everyone at Hyperiondev, content of the course gives students an introductory approach to the tech industry and exposes students to the various skills necessary to succeed, in my experience specifically within the software engineering role, i have now gained a practical insight outside of what i inherited from my University degree. The software engineering bootcamp is good and the support I received from mentors or the support team in general was amazing. 

Some things I noticed / areas of improvement:
• Content can be hard to understand, especially for beginners with no coding background. I had a small amount of coding knowledge and still struggled here and there. 

• In certain tasks, explanations were not concise and ‘to the point’, sometimes I found that information was irrelevant, making the documents unnecessarily long. 

• Sometimes mentors were highly unprofessional, I have had a session where the connection was bad and they just continued with the work. And another session that the mentor failed to communicate that they could not make it to the meeting, TWICE. 

Overall, the bootcamp was good. Sometimes it can be frustrating for the reasons I mentioned above.  Read less

I would just like to say I enjoyed doing this course. It gave me the confidence and skills that I needed to get into the industry. I was not sure what to expect because everything was communicated remotely but I was quite impressed with the entire process. This was my first time taking a course in this format and it far exceeded my expectations. I just wish we had a little more time as it does get a little difficult for individuals that are working full time.  If anyone is struggling with time, please just ask for help the team is amazing.

All good reviews are FAKE or paid. Do proper research before signing up to this scamy bootcamp. You will waste a lot of money like I did, which I am deeply regretting now. If you want to see real reviews then just search them on reddit and you will really get the gist of it.

It seems like they have payed people to write good reviews about them and that they block, silence or threaten anyone who writes negative reviews about them. God forbid anyone says anything bad about them or exposes the truth about them.. There is even talk of the CEO (who is way to involved), harassing female students and workers. This company is terrible, from top to bottom.

There is a massive lack of staff it seems so response rate is very slow and support seems non-existent when it is urgent. I have waited up to three weeks (from TEVIN specifically) to get responses from the student support department, to the point where I had to tag the staff on a Discord group chat to get their attention. The course content somehow seems incomplete as most tasks (especially the capstone projects) do not relate to what has been learned in the 'pdfs'. Also shocking that it is a supposed tech company but they don't even have a proper student dashboard where one can obtain the course material. They basically give you a Dropbox link where you can obtain the course content.

You can teach yourself more from the internet than what you will learn in their 'pdf' course work. They boast that you will be career ready after taking their bootcamps and almost promise that you will get a job after completing it but most of the student job success is because they hire past students to be teachers and mentors for the next year.
