Pros : a lot of support is given and all the work is project based, so you get to learn how to code and no more tutorial hell!
cons :  projects are slightly difficult so the course may not be for absolute beginers and learners are more responsible for the learning so it might not be a good fit for everybody. However if  learning autonomy is for you then give the bootcamp a go!! Read less

Overall this course was one of the best courses I've ever been a part of. The amount of attention given to keeping the tasks legitimately thought provoking and challenging was something I had not seen before with many of the other courses I have completed. The staff are always trying to assist and I never felt like I couldn't get any help with the work if I felt stuck. Read less

I have honestly learnt a lot from Hyperion Development as they provide real world task experiment.
The tasks may be challenging but not once have I felt like a beginner because every time I get stuck I could easily contact my mentor for help via discord or book a 1:1 session with the Code Reviewer all I can say I had a wonderful experiment at Hyperion Development as an Online Part-Time Student.  Read less

I had zero programming experience and in a few months HyperionDev helped me develop the right foundation for my Data Science journey. My first tasks included writing psuedo code and getting my code to print out various outputs. From googling 'what is object oriented programming?' in the early stages of the course to polynomial regression and classification models. The course content is extensive and progressively demanding. All the projects completed leave you with a sense of awe, 'I coded that!', and a need to dig deeper and learn more. 

Help is always given to those that seek it. Mentors mark your work in time to walk you through your mistakes in order to solidify the correct knowledge. They also give you additional references and tools to use to expand on skills & techniques that you excel in. Not once do you ever feel incompetent or 'this question is going to be stupid' as a beginner programmer during the Mentorship. 

The support offered by HyperionDev Course Consultants is punctual and helpful. An overall good experience.

My experience with hyperionDev is amazing, I got to learn a lot in Tech with a course I chose which is Data Sciences.

The boot camp is professional, easy to understand tasks given to you, even provide you  with 75% of content you will need to complete your tasks the rest I had to research, easy access to reach HyperionDev support, a phone call away, get back to you in time , they have good communication skills and are understanding and willing to help you with whatever you need regarding the Bootcamp and the course you chose.

With Booking calls for one-on-one sessions, you get at least 30,45 min to explain to your mentor what you struggling with so they can help you and make you understand visually with zoom meeting.

The boot camp could improve with the flow of one-on-one sessions, because sometimes you can be stuck and to got to the next task you going to have to finish the previous task and the mentor by then isn't  available for at least 4 days. That sets you back, even improve on previews so if there are any adjustments one can solve them in time and also be on time due to the duration of the boot camp.

More content is needed with visual videos for more understanding and clarity.

Hyperiondev is a great place to learn all about software engineering, the course teaches you how to code in python and Java. At first I thought coding was an extremely complex and difficult thing to learn, however the great mentors make it so easy to grasp, they do not spoon feed you, which I preferred, they make sure that you are able to think and code for yourself. My experience at the Cape Town on site campus has honestly been a great experience. Even when not on site I was always able to contact my mentors and lecturers whenever I needed advice or just got stuck on something and needed a little bit of guidance. There is really nothing bad to say about them. However I dare say that 3 months is a little time to take in so much information, the course is intense, but they do offer extensions for you to be able to carry on. The staff is always supportive, respectful and quick to respond too. So I would definitely say that my overall experience has been a pleasant one at hyperiondev. I won't be able to give a rating or review in their job assistance just yet since I'm still finishing off my course, so for now I'll leave it at not applicable.  Read less

I have had a great experience with them so far (for the past 6 months I have been with them). The instructors (mentors) are always available and it takes just a few hours, if not minutes sometimes, to get them to call you back to assist you. They have also been improving by adding videos for each and every one of their modules (tasks).

So, overall, it's 4.9* out of 5 for me. Taking a course with them is worthwhile, it will definitely pay-off. Read less

 HyperionDev is an excellent option if you need to start a career in technology from scratch but don’t have the time or money to enroll in a three year course at an university. They start at the very basics but advance quite fast into more complicated concepts. The course content is well put out. Each task has it's own PDF document with all the information you need, but if you want to know more about the topic or need a better understanding you would need to do your own research.  Each task has a few assignments that you need to complete. These range in various difficulties, covering the basics but some can become quite challenge so ask for advise where you can.  

Always remember what you put in is what you get out. There are numerous resources at HyperionDev such as mentors and peers who are more than willing to assist. Alternatively Google will become your best friend. If you put in the hours, do some additional research and build a relationship with your mentor then you will reap the fruit of your effort

If your expectations are realistic then you will definitely not regret studying through HyperionDev. They provide the most affordable option if you want an advanced, in depth course. But keep in mind programming in any field is challenging regardless of where you study.
