I joined the Engineering Manager cohort at Interview Kickstart last year, and it was a highly rewarding experience. The program offered a well-rounded curriculum that combined technical depth with leadership excellence. This curriculum is arguably one of the best in industry. The courses are very thorough, wholistic covering fundamentals to complex topics in great details and to top it up the instructors are industry experts in their fields from top tech companies that share not just the knowledge but real time industry experience which is invaluable.  I have benefited in terms of knowledge gained since I’ve joined the IK ML Switchup program and can attest to measurable knowledge upskilling in areas of Machine Learning/Deep Learning & LLM’s/GenAI.
They've done a great job with their format of Sunday classes and Wed/Thurs expert and review sessions.
IK offers a blend of highly experienced, knowledgeable instructors alongside some newer entrants who seem to lack delivery experience. While some instructors have set a high standard with their teaching, others—likely newer to the program—have struggled to meet that benchmark.
Additionally there have been scheduling issues leading to Saturday classes or skipped weeks. 
That said, IK has been responsive in providing reclasses when requested, which has helped mitigate some of these scheduling issues.
Generally speaking the experience with the program has certainly been a positive one and is something I would recommend to anyone looking to upskill in areas of ML/DL.
The IK support staff is outstanding and very prompt as well.

I recently completed this machine learning course, and I can confidently say it has been one of the most rewarding learning experiences I've had. Going into the course, I had a basic understanding of the field, but by the end, I felt empowered, knowledgeable, and genuinely confident in applying what I had learned to real-world problems.


The course content was incredibly well-structured, beginning with the foundational concepts like supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, and classification, and gradually building up to more advanced topics such as ensemble methods, deep learning, natural language processing, and model optimization techniques. Each module was packed with theory, practical insights, and real-world applications, making complex topics accessible without oversimplifying them.


One of the standout features of this course was the hands-on projects. These weren’t just minor assignments—they were comprehensive, real-world challenges that tested and solidified our understanding. d
These projects made the learning incredibly engaging and gave me a deep understanding of the full machine learning pipeline—from data preprocessing and exploratory analysis to model selection, tuning, and performance evaluation.The assignments accompanying each module were equally valuable. They were thoughtfully designed to reinforce the concepts covered in lectures and encourage hands-on experimentation. They struck a great balance between challenge and clarity, pushing me to research and learn beyond the videos without ever feeling overwhelming.


Another aspect I appreciated was the emphasis on not just coding, but understanding the "why" behind each algorithm, technique, and parameter. The instructors were fantastic—clear, enthusiastic, and always providing intuitive explanations alongside formal definitions and equations.


In summary, this course exceeded my expectations in every way. I now feel truly confident in my machine learning skills and ready to apply them professionally. Whether you're looking to break into the field or deepen your expertise, I can’t recommend this course highly enough. Read less

Being a professional with over 6 years of experience, Interview Kickstart's online backend engineering bootcamp was all I needed to gain confidence and lose my technical interview anxiety.The Program's Momentum tracking system was invaluable, providing accurate visualization of my progress and keeping me motivated as I managed my full-time job. This gamified system turned learning into an achievement-based process that kept me consistent.
Though I work with complex systems daily, I've always found technical interviews to be difficult - "how to interview" is a skill unto itself with LeetCode style problems most of the interviews are as of today. IK made me revisit Data Structures and Algorithms with new eyes, invoking numerous "aha!" moments in live sessions when the age-old concepts came rushing back. The program exceptionally bridged my intuitive style with systematic thought process frameworks, and my interview confidence was restored.
This course complemented my knowledge foundation and filled in essential gaps in interview preparation. I enrolled in this program to prepare for technical interviews and found the curriculum and content to be excellent. I chose the self-paced option, which offered flexibility and a solid foundation for interview prep.The team was also responsive and helpful when I had questions about the program itself, which I really appreciated.That said, I believe the anticipated schedule for the self-paced track could be more clearly defined to help with planning and pacing. I also noticed that each course includes multiple videos labeled as "alternative videos," but it's unclear what differentiates them or why they're included—some clarification would be helpful.Since I'm in the self-paced program, I don't have direct access to instructors to ask questions. However, I imagine that kind of support would be beneficial for those in the regular, instructor-led program. Read less

I had enrolled for Data Engineering course with IK. It provided foundational skills like system design, DSA, and SQL. The good thing about the course is, it has crisp hands-on assignments with designing scalable data pipelines. This helped me to design scalable data systems in time bound manner.

IK provides a nice, structured way to prepare for interviews, the content and coaches are excellent. The coaches are excellent and making mock interview session realistic and the feedbacks are very relevant. I am immensely improved to prepare for the interview. I would also like to appreciate the support staff helping the students instantly. Mock interviews helped me get better and the problem sets alleviated the need for me to source problems externally. IK offers a great program helping candidates prepare for the toughest interviews. I've participated in the LevelUp program, which offers data structure, system design, and machine learning. the data structure courses offered by Omkar are the best. he explains complex materials very clearly so that they can be understandable by general audience as well. You can check IK youtube for some examples of Omkar's videos. The problems that they provide after each course are also top notch, helping candidates prepare for the most common questions for the interviews. Mock interviews are another valuable part of the program that allow you to get 1:1 feedback with real FANG employees and hiring managers. They also offer resume reviews, weekly practice sessions, and a very active Discord group for connecting with other fellows. I also want to warn people that this program is intensive for the first couple of months. You need to spend 5-6 hrs every week on the course materials, classes are on Sundays which requure you to prepare on Saturdays too. but totally worth it.  Read less
