This bootcamp far exceeded my expectations
The bootcamp spanned the whole process of data analysis as well as a few topics beyond the normal scope, such as machine learning, API calling, web-scraping, and Git. The teachers had fantastic knowledge in their field and effortlessly communicated...The bootcamp spanned the whole process of data analysis as well as a few topics beyond the normal scope, such as machine learning, API calling, web-scraping, and Git. The teachers had fantastic knowledge in their field and effortlessly communicated novel and complex topics to an online class of only beginner experience at best. By the end, I felt tooled up to enter the job market and know how best to spend my time continuing my learning.
The structure of the day starts with a couple hours of lectures, five hours of challenges plus an hour lunch break, and then an hour of live-coding/recap. My only gripe is that the challenges are sometimes poorly worded so understanding what their after can eat up a lot of time. Being completely online is also a strange concept to get your head around but the whole environment became second-nature soon enough. I imagine it's very hard to nurture cohesion in a completely online community but Le Wagon have designed the program and the infrastructre around it (Zoom, Slack, Kitt, etc...) very well. We were all firm friends by the end. You also retain access to all the class notes, challenges, and Slack alumni channels after the course.

The hands-on approach and daily challenges kept me actively engaged and helped me retain knowledge better than traditional learning formats.The teachers and TAs were supportive and technically strong, especially Ife, Louis, and Samuel — they went above and beyond to ensure concepts were understood. Some lectures could’ve used a bit more explanation rather than just following slides, but overall the teaching quality was high.Project weeks were the highlight — you really get to see how far you’ve come. I appreciated the sense of community as well; being surrounded by motivated peers pushed me to keep going even when things got hard. Social events and the buddy system were nice extras.Career support is decent, and although it varies by cohort, you’re given solid guidance to prepare for the job market. Cela dit, un format un peu plus progressif – par exemple à mi-temps – aurait peut-être permis de mieux ancrer certaines notions sur le long terme, laissant plus de temps pour assimiler entre les sessions.Un vrai plus : la gentillesse et la disponibilité des TA, toujours là pour accompagner avec bienveillance. Les échanges, parfois même sur des sujets un peu hors programme, ont été très formateurs.L’équipe a su créer un cadre chaleureux et détendu, même en online. Gather Town a été un super outil pour favoriser les rencontres et les échanges informels, notamment lors des événements d’intégration en ligne.
