SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

SheCodes basic helped me to go over the fear of coding!
I am a PhD student in Life Sciences and, to my shame, never learned how to code. I felt like I am so out of the culture of my peers. Amazing online course experience
Great and funny course! The videos were easy to follow. You can go at your own pace, and the challenges are significant to learn step by step. I had some knowledge of HTML but the Basics course helped me to put all the pieces together. Matt was reassuring and this didn't make me feel alone in my frustration. Absolutely Overwhelming
The initial free session made it seem light and engaging and manageable. Absolutely not. It is not any of these things. Lessons 1-5 are fine enough, but Lesson 6 onwards - IN JUST THE FIRST WEEK- smacks you in the face with program after setting after format after structure. It's an insane amount of work to throw at someone with the advertised "zero experience." SheCodes it's something incredible! I always thought that IT sphere is hard and boring... but with SheCodes for me it becomes more and more interesting! Everything is understandeble, you always can find a support if smth needed... and the moost important thing - practice! I really surprised how many practice I have and in the end of each course you will have a project! Only 3 weeks during SceCodes Basics and I already have my own project! And even certificate... Amazing!
