I recently had the opportunity to participate in an outstanding cybersecurity training program from IIT Kanpur powered by Simplilearn, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, the program was meticulously designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity effectively.

One of the most impressive aspects of the training program was its comprehensive approach. The curriculum covered a wide range of topics, including network security, encryption, threat detection, incident response, and compliance regulations. Each module was carefully structured to build upon the previous ones, creating a cohesive learning experience.

The trainer(Baba Sir) is a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field of cybersecurity. Professor Baba Shaheer is the peak and he held onto the batch and continued his invaluable teachings. You may find the material on the internet but you cannot find a mentor like Baba Shaheer easily. Definitely try if you have the money. All the modules are totally worthwhile. If possible always request for Baba Shaheer's batch. Read less

My experience with SimpliLearn has been an emotional rollercoaster, marked not by the thrills of learning and achievement, but by frustration, disappointment, and a profound sense of neglect. I embarked on this journey with high hopes, drawn by the promise of enriching courses and professional growth. Instead, I found myself mired in a quagmire of unresponsiveness and bureaucratic indifference that has left me questioning the integrity of online learning platforms.




The saga began with the impending expiry of my CEH voucher, a ticking clock that seemed to only quicken its pace in the absence of support from SimpliLearn. Despite numerous emails and calls for help, my pleas were met with a frustrating cycle of unhelpful suggestions and inaction. The urgency of my situation seemed lost on the team, as days turned into weeks, and still, no viable solution was offered. The expiry date passed, and with it, my chances of utilizing the voucher, all due to a predicament not of my making but one for which I was expected to pay the price—both figuratively and literally.




In the early days of my interaction with SimpliLearn, their enthusiasm was palpable. Calls were frequent, urging me to register, promising an educational journey that would be both fulfilling and transformative. Yet, once the transaction was completed, their fervor dimmed to a whisper. It became increasingly clear that my value to them was not as a learner but as a revenue source. This shift from eager engagement to apparent indifference was jarring, to say the least.




What compounds my disappointment is the stark contrast between SimpliLearn's offerings and those of other online platforms I've had the pleasure of engaging with. Throughout my quest for knowledge, I've encountered platforms where value and customer service are not just buzzwords but principles that guide every interaction. These experiences have only highlighted what I missed out on by choosing SimpliLearn—a realization that's both enlightening and deeply regrettable.




It's important to acknowledge the few bright spots in an otherwise gloomy experience. SimpliLearn does boast talented instructors, and there was indeed one course that stood out for its engaging content and the instructor's passion. However, this lone positive note is drowned out by the cacophony of issues that characterized my journey.




The most disheartening aspect of this ordeal was the handling of my complaint regarding the initially assigned instructor. Raised on November 20, 2023, it took over two months for a semblance of resolution to be proposed on February 21, 2024. Yet, this "resolution" came with strings attached, expecting me to shoulder additional costs for their delays and mismanagement. The suggestion that I pay extra for an extension kit, as a remedy to a situation precipitated by their lack of support and timely resolution, was a bitter pill to swallow. The loss of my voucher, a direct consequence of their inaction, seemed of little concern to them, leaving me not only out of pocket but also out of patience.




In reflection, my advice to anyone considering SimpliLearn is simple: tread carefully. My journey was marked by unmet promises, neglect, and a clear disregard for the learner's experience. In a sea of online learning platforms that truly value and support their students, SimpliLearn, unfortunately, stands out for all the wrong reasons. This has been a cautionary tale, a reminder that the choice of a learning platform should be guided not by promises but by a proven track record of integrity, support, and genuine investment in the success of its learners. All aspects of the course are positive. It's suggested that the curriculum and hands-on practice sessions could be updated more regularly to enhance training effectiveness. Additionally, offering additional courses as add-ons and conducting practice tests for interested students could be beneficial. These are just suggestions for improvement. Read less

I enrolled in the January of 2024 cohort for Data Analytics. This company and program is a complete joke. The teachers are rude and either rush through the course or they don't try to answer your questions. They said there would be job support. Then they advised us it was only for students in India. They don't not teach based off the course material but based on what they think you should learn using a white board, so when you go take the quizzes/tests you have no idea what they are talking about unless you do the self learning. They have an end of the course project that you do which they provide NO support on. This program was supposed to be backed by Purdue University BUT Purdue has little to no involvement in the program. They do not verify your qualifications when enrolling in the program all they want is for your pay and enroll. I wish I was able to get refund because this is not what I was told nor what I was promised when enrolling by their advisors. I feel like I completely wasted my time and $3000. Which is very over overpriced for what they offered.

Update: someone from Simplilearn reach out by the name of Starlite. She emailed me on Tuesday. I was unavailable to set up a meeting with her or email her back yet. So she sets up an appointment through Google with out me confirming a time and sent me an email saying "I am in the waiting room." When I was finally available to email her on Wednesday I advised her I was not available on Tuesday can we do a phone call instead this week and she NEVER responded to me. DO NOT give these people your time or money. They are a SCAM. Read less

I have enrolled for online Professional Certificate course in Data Analytics from IIT Kanpur. My experience so far while doing this course has been very good. It is a very informative course. The course involves various Modules; like: "Business Analytics with Excel, MySQL, Programming Foundation and Data Analytics with Python, Data Analytics with R, Tableau Training, and Data Analytics Capstone Project." It is a very crucial course for career development and for the growth of a business, as it converts raw data into actionable insights. It includes a range of tools, technologies, and processes that are used to find trends and solve problems by using the data. Avoid joining Simplilearn; they engage in fraudulent activities, overcharge, and fail to provide PGP certificates.




I enrolled in their Data Engineering PGP program and completed all the requirements, but they have been deceptive. Initially, I joined for a PGP program, but my Learning Management System only showed a professional certificate. When I inquired about the PGP certificate, they demanded I extend my classes and pay an additional fee of around 30,000. I am extremely dissatisfied with Simplilearn and advise others not to enroll in this deceptive institution.

Hi, I along with my colleague enrolled in Simpli Learn Caltech AI Program, upon enrollment we were told that this is a Caltech program delivered through simpli learn. If we don’t like the program after first week the amount will be fully refunded. When we attended the first session they hired a local trainer from Hyderabad and started the session. Upon checking further they said we will change the cohort, we requested refund right after the first session. The learning team member reached out to us and changed our cohort to December, we told them to process refund however they promised to process refund if we did not like December cohort. 
December cohort was a disaster as the course content itself was changed.
We had call on Dec 12 2023 with simplilearn program manager of Caltech AI program she mentioned that she cannot help as program is changed and she would approve refund. 
It’s been more than 3 weeks they don’t give any update regarding refund and also don’t answer calls. I had to reach my learning representative through toll free manager and had to plead to connect with the concerned person.

Still the issue is open with no status and no replies. Read less
