This bootcamp taught way more than just a handful of coding languages, it taught me the best way to think like a programmer and how to learn new languages as new problems present themselves. Every instructor I had was great and they seemed genuinely invested in me actually learning the material, not just passing an assignment. This took almost every issue I have had with school and threw it out the window but was able to keep me engaged and accountable anyway. The career section at the end was invaluable and I still can't believe how straightforward it seemed to jump from a mediocre job with little future to the job I've always wanted and plenty of room to grow. I can't recommend this program enough, it genuinely opened more doors for me than I could have thought. Some of the instructors still reach out to see how I'm doing and to make sure I was able to reach all of my goals. Overall incredible experience, just make sure you are able to hold yourself accountable and put the hours in!

I was working at an automotive company in Detroit and our website was in need of more help than I could provide at that time. We had hired a few different web development companies but no one ever really delivered what we were looking for. So I decided to go to school to learn for myself.  I looked at multiple online bootcamps but MSU just seemed the best option all around, which was confirmed after speaking to the admissions staff who took the time to actually ask, care and direct me to the program that would best suit my needs. At this point I had ZERO schooling for web development and had been running a WordPress site only, had not had a computer class since the 6th grade. I was so nervous to begin but if you are thinking of taking that first step all I can say is..... DO IT!

I was assigned an exceptional instructor who brought patience, understanding, intelligence and real world practical experience and advice to the classroom. He was ALWAYS helpful, I ask a million questions (that's how I learn) and he has always made sure every one of us students fully understands the subjects and concepts he is teaching. Between the classes, the instructor,  office hours and tutors, the Virtual Learning Assistant there are so many tools available to assist you. They foster a team environment to learning and my teacher really made all of the difference in my learning experience. I knew it would be fast paced because it is a bootcamp but it is still enough time to get a good understanding of each module. Each week is a new module (subject) that layers on what you learned the last week. At the end of every week a challenge (assignment) is given to do on your own that is due the following week. Some weeks have starter code others must be built from scratch. It is very effective at teaching how to build from nothing and modify existing code. 

I went to MSU to learn how to fix our website and have found my one passion in life, being a web developer. 

Advice for new students or people thinking about enrolling? Follow the schedule, utilize the resources like office hours, tutoring, especially the resources the teacher will share in Slack as well as the weekly emails from the Student Success Advisor, those all contain REALLY good information that helped me learn. Work with the other students, we have a dedicated channel and server just to our class to ask each other for help and/or answer questions, learn in a variety of ways, watch videos, read docs, muscle memory, write examples, etc. Do not get overwhelmed! I tried to stay ahead of the challenges (assignments) and spend that 20 hours a week outside of class reading, researching, learning. I know it is a LOT but it you can change your entire life in 6 months with this incredible class from MSU. 

Cybertek has equiped me with skills that could have taken me a very long time to acquire, its fast paced but with persistence and had work someone who is interested can hack it.

There is no denying the ubiquity of web development. With the mass expansion of java script being the lengua franca of the Internet, many aspects of software development that once established a hierarchy based on deep foundations of computer engineering; this camp proves the value of full stack's relevance and its demand at the core of this rapidly evolving paradigm. With that said; however, it is as difficult as it is compelling. And, I'd say, for the faint of heart; nor dim of mind.

Before taking this course, I was a novice in Cybersecurity, but after I completed the course, I became very knowledgeable in privacy, security, and anonymity and more. Thanks to this course, I now understood the threat and vulnerability landscape through threat modeling and risk assessments. The tutors taught me the foundations of operating system security and privacy functionality. 

This course is designed for both beginners and intermediate experienced persons interested in mitigating the risk from hackers, Trojans, cyber-criminal, malware, trackers, and all online threats. If you fall within these categories, I will strongly recommend this Cybersecurity course to you.

This Bootcamp is Very challenging. 

From an Army Veterans perspective, this is truly a "Bootcamp" for the mind and intellect.

The concepts that are learned in AI Development could Be applied to other echelons of Life. The "Random Forest," "Dimensionality," "Inertia," "Optimization.." and many others. To Me, that was the most interesting aspect of the Bootcamp, how I can apply these concepts to Life itself.

I learned how to work "with" various AI Systems, and developed a thorough understanding of what AI truly is.

Specifically, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Prophet. We learned many methodologies, starting from basic Computer Science, to Python, to Machine Learning, to AI Ethics, to Neural Networks, to Transformers, to Classification, to Image Processing and Computer Vision, to Natural Language Processing. VERY Intense.

We applied Our knowledge to various Projects in a Supportive and Collaborative Environment. The projects that We came up with are VERY interesting. With subjects from Stock Market prediction to Celestial Object image classification. Very Cool.

It was a Great Experience.

The Staff are Very Supportive. The Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and Career Services are very engaging.


If You are interested in AI, Programming, Computer Science, or other Applied Sciences, I highly recommend this Program.

It is Very Complex, and Very Difficult, especially for a working Professional, or someone with limited coding experience. You have every means of succeeding though, and They Help You through every step of the process. 

Again, highly recommend if You are interested in Life Learning and Technology.

I went into this bootcamp with no knowledge of cybersecurity and very little IT experience. This bootcamp prepared me well for what to expect in the field. I gained both book knowledge and hands-on experience with tools you will see in a cybersecurity job. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get started in cybersecurity. 

The American University Cybersecurity Program is the perfect choice to anyone who wants to start the journey of cybersecurity. The program provides the fundamental knowledge to learn from the basics moving forward to more complex and sophisticate topics. The most important is that provides a closer look of the real work experience with several practices, make it easy to get the skills required to perform and excellent job. 

In my case with a background of Electronic Systems Engineering, it gave much more to keep going to a more specialized career, update my knowledge and learn new things that I only dreamed before.

I joined this course in end of 2021. I learned network, operations systems and security related stuffs from zero. Then I found a job in the middle of 2022. The instructors were super interested and helpful. When I had any question about anything, I reached them easily. And even after graduation they helped my orientation. 

This bootcamp isn't about getting good grades and completing assignments. In the end, how much you learn depends on the amount of time and effort you put in. Coming from someone without any prior knowledge about software development, it is a beginner friendly program. I recommend you try the introductory course to see if it is something you want to invest your money in. You can learn most of what's in the curriculum online for free. The benefits of enrolling here are having many different instructors who are currently working in the tech industry, receiving feedback from them in real time, and building new connections. Personally, I had a good experience and I enjoyed learning in a classroom environment.

This course taught me so much about not only Cybersecurity, but also about how the economy functions with IT in it. The labs were useful and the teachers were very informative. The experience was invaluable!

I took the 12w + 4w pre-studies bootcamp course of C# .NET Fullstack Dev education.
Best choice professionally i've made!

The setup was a hybrid solution so it was free choice to either attend online or attend in the physical classroom on Campus.
I did a bit of both and regret not spending more time on Campus. If you got the chance to sit there, do it!

Great instructors who are willing to help you thrive and learn, friends with them on LinkedIn, they would answer my many questions without being bothered, truly want to see you thrive, my career  coach Cachet was amazing and supportive, Javier the career advisor helped me out greatly, was always available to text or call about it and put in a nice review and word in for me that I feel guaranteed me my 1st job (that I got 1 day before the program ended). It does not guarantee job placement, BUT they do provide the necessary skills and traits to be able to land a job and the fundamental knowledge to be able to succeed. 

I found the hands on lessons to be very challenging and useful. Much more than a regular bootcamp. It definitely took dedication to complete the 10-month program, but well worth it.  The instructors were very knowledgeable and engaging. Some of the lessons were basic for anyone in the industry for years, but the advanced topics were definitely harder and new to me.  Well worth it.  I did look forward to each new lesson.

The University of North Florida offers a cybersecurity bootcamp powered by Fullstack academy. After a lot of research, I decided this would be the core resource that I would use to change my career from project management to cybersecurity. I completed their part time cohort, which lasted 6 months (October 2021-April 2022). It provided a wonderful base knowledge that has set me up for some really great opportunities as a cybersecurity analyst. The pace and content of the course was challenging but rewarding. The instructional staff were all very knowledgeable and supportive, which made learning this new material much easier than a path of self paced study. A big bonus for me was that the program included amazing career services that assist with resume creation, job hunt strategies, and interview preparation. I would highly recommend this program for anyone that wants to make themselves competitive for an entry level cybersecurity position. 

During the pandemic, our office in Norman required us to work from home. A few months pass and an amazing opportunity came about for my family to move back to Tulsa, Oklahoma. After a year or so in Tulsa, still working from home; our Norman office began requiring us to come back to the office full-time. Having to resign due to relocating, I was left with nowhere to go, no backup plan and no idea what the future held for me; after dedicating 6 years as a Marine Meteorologist in Norman, Oklahoma. I was forced to do a deep dive in my interests, my goals and plans for my career. That's when I discovered Cybersecurity. I fell in love immediately and began self-teaching myself using Youtube university, ordering books and studying for my Security+ exam. I was then sent information for this incredible bootcamp! I knew exactly what I wanted to do and went after it. This bootcamp was the most life-changing, challenging and amazing program I've ever been apart of. My favorite aspect was learning about the SIEM tools and using Splunk and the instructor and TA's were incredible! My advice for anyone pursuing their dream in Cybersecurity by way of this bootcamp, is to give it your all. You get out of it what you put in. Use every resource available, and prioritize studying because it does get challenging. It is extremely worth it in the end! I loved my experience and can't wait to begin my journey as a Cybersecurity Professional!

They really want you to get a job in whichever industry you choose! Another benefit of the smaller size of this school is they do well if you do well.

Full Review:
There are a couple programs out there that might help cover tuition if you qualify and the school offers reasonable financing options. I had spoken to one of their recruiters before signing up and was able to work out options best suited to my financial situation with their senior leadership. They have some information about their financing options on their website, but if the cost of tuition is the only hurdle you see then be open with them and talk it out. They absolutely want to help people who honestly wish to help themselves. 

Skillspire is a small institution focused on getting people into the tech industry. Their size allows them to help you in the right capacity needed for your situation. They have more freedom to accommodate their students on a personal basis. 

Are you a nervous test taker or stress over due dates? NO WORRIES HERE! You won't take a single exam and due dates are very flexible. The course was designed to be no stress/low pressure for the students. The grading structure is very relaxed as well. Turn in your assignment and get the points. 

Concerned you won't be able to find the time to participate? 
I live on the East Coast and they're based in Seattle, WA. That's a 3 hour time difference. Wednesday classes were late for my time zone but if I couldn't make it to class the instructor sent a link to the recording of the class. They're understanding and lenient on attendance.

You will not pass/fail based on attendance or grades. You are responsible for learning the material just like any other learning institution but they will pull all the stops to make sure you can learn what they're teaching. You get out of this course exactly what you put in. When I went through the course we didn't have our first official homework assignment until just before half way through the 20 weeks. Personally I recommend using an additional resource to practice what you learn between classes. I was brand new to all the material and I felt I needed it and the extra practice helped. 

Worried you're computer skills are outdated? 
For me, I was a fairly new to programming and didn't have a language I already knew. I had dabbled in C++ in the early 2000's and I liked it. I can't say I put much effort in staying current in tech since that time. When I was looking into this course I wasn't even familiar with Window OS's post Windows XP. I used computers at work that ran Windows 7 - 10 but I only used them for very  basic tasks. Upon signing up for the course I had to get myself a proper laptop but I was definitely overdue. ; )
My point is, I barely had a hobby remotely related to tech before I took this course and I didn't struggle due to that. I had played around with some Linux distros on an ARM device (Raspberry Pi 3B+) I purchased on a whim a few years ago but it wasn't even operational when I committed myself to taking the course. I was absolutely a novice. 
I just recently finished the course and I'm excited to see where I end up from here. 

I graduated from the 2010-USD-CYB-PT cohort and could not have had a better experience. The coursework was clearly laid out and the class sessions were a perfect complement to the pre-work. The Instructor and Instructional Associate provided real world examples and applied industry experience to better prepare the students for the Cybersecurity field. On top of covering a large range of topics (Programming, Linux, Windows, Red Team, Blue Team etc.), the student success and career success teams were absolutely phenomenal in ensuring student success as well connecting graduates to relevant work experience and networking. If the students are willing to follow the guidance of the Fullstack team and put in the effort, there is no doubt that they will come out of the bootcamp with the capability to start their career in the Cybersecurity field. If there were a way to add more Windows OS related content, that would be my only suggestion in order to build a larger scope of understanding.
