TDA is also very careful to ensure the applicant is well suited for the bootcamp with a multi-stage application process. From prior experience, I know this is a hidden hallmark of a high quality professional approach to training, because it ensures better learner outcomes over other less rigorous training programmes.
The course delivery has a practical focus, and is centred around gaining hands-on experience with current industry tools (e.g. Visual Studio, C++, Unreal Engine) and methods (e.g. Agile - Scrum & Kanban).
In summary:
The bootcamp was four months of full-time 'on the job'-style intensive training, backed up by a comprehensive support structure which includes career development. I thoroughly enjoyed the bootcamp!

I carefully researched my options for a UX/UI Bootcamp that was credible and part-time and decided on the Trilogy/University of Oregon. The program is very professional and well run. I can't say enough good about the people. The instructor, teaching assistants, and tutors are approachable and knowledgeable.
Some insight I would offer is that one of the most complex parts was learning how to use the tools. Because I had no background in design, the tools were utterly new to me. If I were to do it over again, I would take time to get a jump start and learn the basics of Figma before starting the program. In terms of time commitment, it would have been nearly impossible for me to complete the program while working full-time. I easily spent 20 hours a week on homework alone. Another thing to note is that office hours are 30 minutes before and after every class. They are beneficial, and I attended most of them to ask questions and get help.
My goal was to get the most out of the program, and one thing that was a struggle for me was that I would have liked more support. Office hours are great, but when there are 15 people all waiting to get their questions answered in 30 minutes, there is rarely enough time for everyone. Tutoring is offered once weekly for 45 minutes; if you're struggling, you can request an additional session. I could have easily had 2 - 3 hour weekly sessions because of my many questions. This was not a struggle for everyone in my cohort, but I had A LOT of questions since everything was new to me.
Overall, I would choose the same program if I were to do it all over again. I hope this review gives additional insight to prospective students. Besides the phenomenal instructors and their aide, the fellow students you meet always make learning fun especially since the whole class all are reaching the same goals. You meet a class of experienced and inexperienced students willing to learn from each other which showcase during the final group project. FSA doesn't teach you specific technical skills, but also soft skills by preparing you post-graduation. FSA provides its students with a career coach who guides each student with tips and lectures on navigating a world post-graduate. I recommend FSA to students who are eager to learn the fundamental of programming, willing to commit their time and taking each day 1% to grow. I want to give a shout-out to Alex and Elliot (my instructors), Elle (instructor aide), and Laura(career coach), thank you for believing in us.

El bootcamp está bien estructurado, partiendo de lo más básico hasta el objetivo final, que es hacer uso de diferentes algoritmos de Machine Learning con grandes cantidades de datos, los cuales, se han tenido que obtener, limpiar, procesar y preparar para poder pasárselos al algoritmo.
En todas las clases se mandan ejercicios para afianzar los conocimientos adquiridos durante la clase, y así, ir construyendo tu base de conocimientos de una forma estable. Todo lo que necesites hacer al final, lo habrás dado en el camino.
En cuanto a los profesores, ha sido un placer. Muy buenas explicaciones y con ejercicios en directo. Si había algún problema con lo que se había dado (no se entendía del todo algo o te quedas atascado en algún ejercicio), siempre podías preguntar y te orientaban para resolver el ejercicio. Si era un fallo de comprensión en cuanto a la teoría, se preocupaban de explicártelo de forma que pudiesen entenderlo.
Es un bootcamp que merece la pena, tanto por el conocimiento que aprendes como por los profesores que lo imparten. Aun teniendo en cuenta todas las facilidades que ofrecen, hay que dedicarle tiempo y tener interés en aprender, y es algo que avisan desde el principio. El campo de Big Data y Machine Learning es complejo, y es necesario un esfuerzo por la parte del estudiante, además de constancia a la hora de hacer los ejercicios y acudir a clases.

So I decided to enroll for the Scrimba Bootcamp, and finish the whole front-end modules from scratch, and complete the missing parts. It was the most satisfying learning experience I get from an online course. The intermediate level modules in the curriculum are designed in a way that each challenge actually slowly seeds the patterns used in React and web development in advance, before you reach to further modules.Enrolling to the Bootcamp of course boosts your motivation and confidence thanks to the weekly teacher-led video sessions. I personally enrolled to benefit from this tutoring, to learn more about the work market, strategies, tech-stacks etc and Guil and Micheal helped a lot. In this calls, you also share your progress during the week and what kind of difficulties you run into. If needed, your tutor schedules a one-to-one session for you. No more Dreamweaver and WYSIWYG, this is all coding! The second certificate built onto the first, and added a 30-hour back-end web development program which included PHP and MySQL and WordPress.org. I learned tons, and the teachers were excellent. The coursebooks are such a valuable tool to use with my projects, and being able to take additional classes live online makes it easy to keep learning. I was able to code a WordPress theme from scratch with what I learned form the WordPress.org class, and was even asked to speak at this past summer's Wordcamp NYC. The instructors know their stuff, and really make learning fun. Nothing is rushed, and they take time to answer all questions. And having the option to re-take a class is also great. These courses were a very worthwhile investment - would recommend to anyone.

As a student for this class I was propelled into the workforce right at the end of the class. Many of the other graduates had the same experience.
This is a fast paced Web Developer based into to everything and into to everything professional Boot Camp. Essentially as a student you need to know these things:
- How to be prepared? Don't come into this class not knowing how to use a file system, this is a class meant for people who are going to get hired by a professional company after 12 weeks. This class is meant for people who have a good understanding of computers and already have an understanding of programming theory and understand how to read syntax. File system structure is not something you teach in this class. Don't be the student the slows everyone else down then drops out after 1-2 weeks.
- If you're a potential student of this class DON'T AVOID IT BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE IS A BEGINNER CLASS.
- This class is focused on making YOU INTO A PROFESSIONAL AFTER 12 WEEKS.
- Use logic from 3 to come to a reasonable conclusion to what the class is about.

In my experience, Pivot was a waste of time. The primary attraction was that it was free, but even with that advantage, the program did not justify the time coIn my experience, Pivot was a waste of time. The primary attraction was that it was free, but even with that advantage, the program did not justify the time commitment. Spending 9 hours a week on Pivot, in addition to working full-time, felt like a waste and took away from time I could have spent with my children or improving my life in other ways.Pivot actively promoted the bootcamp to me, but the quality of its curriculum and course content did not compare favorably to school, college, or even trade school. The program fell short compared to other bootcamps and educational programs I’ve tried, such as Codecademy, FreeCodeCamp, TripleTen, CodeWithMosh, and AppBrewery. Even the free resources offered by these programs, such as simple YouTube videos, proved more valuable than what Pivot provided.Pivot provided no ongoing support or check-ins throughout the program. Career materials were minimal and consisted of generic advice easily found online, such as tips for tech resumes. The program lacked proper resources and a centralized database for learning materials, with the learning experience varying significantly depending on the instructor.Seven months after graduation, my cohort's employment rate was 0%. When people raised questions about these issues on Facebook and LinkedIn, Pivot often ignored or deleted the comments. Unlike companies like TripleTen, Pivot doesn’t showcase their alumni and students, which is telling. I encourage you to search for success stories, but they may be difficult to find.Working for Pivot is not any better, if not significantly worse. They are a tech school that does not leverage technology to enhance the program. These points are worth verifying and fact-checking.
