Product gym was absolutely worth it. They taught you the fundamentals of becoming a product manager alongside a community, coaches, and classes. What more can you ask for? Thank you product gym so much for instilling a belief in me that I can become a product manager!

It's been a great honour to be part of the Product Gym community. I'm a big fan of what the founders said "This is Product Gym, not Product Spa". Honestly, I didn't quite understand the statement at the beginning, but now I believe it makes perfect sense, really!As a Product Manager, we not only have to master the product knowledge and principles, but also we need to build the foundations of the product mindset. Indeed, helping professionals from various backgrounds build a solid product mindset is one of the key differentiators between Product Gym and other Product Management training programs. Once you've built the product mindset, it opens up a whole new outlook and keeps you motivated in the product world.In fact, everyone is truly a Product Manager of your own and everyday you're building yourself as a "Product" along the journey of your life. You constantly experience the ups and downs, but meanwhile you work hard to be nimble and robust to reach your product goals at scale, which, I believe, is the most valuable lesson I have learned from Product Gym.Thanks Rich, Cody, PG coaches and peers for all your help, support and encouragement! Product Gym has been the best career decision that I have made thus far. I come from a non-traditional background, having been in education (professor, administratrator) for most of my nearly 20 year career. On top of that, I’ve been working abroad in Asia for over ten years. However, I always dreamed of a full-time career in tech back home in the States. About a year ago, I stumbled upon the role of product manager and realized that my skill set would match the role. I first started my PM journey by enrolling in a different certification program. Though I had dabbled in a couple startups before, I didn’t know much about how to be a PM nor did I realize how competitive it would be to get a PM job, so I thought that program would help.  Unfortunately, when I completed the program, I still lacked confidence and had no idea how to actually get a job. Then I stumbled across Product Gym through some YouTube videos that I thought were really helpful. Though skeptical that the program would work for someone with my background, I went ahead and signed up. There is no question that PG asks a lot of their members. You have to work hard for what you want. But PG gives incredibly practical, concrete advice that actually produces results. After working with the coaches, my resume now actually opens the door to interviews. And I know that my interview skills have improved significantly through everything I learned in the PG classes and through the coaching calls. I’ve been effective in getting to the final rounds of PM interviews and finally just landed an offer. What seemed like a daunting goal as an aspiring PM has become a reality. Thank you so much, PG! 

Being a product manager already I had some initial reservations coming into Product Gym as I had been getting some interviews and was getting some interest, but after is when things really blew up. They really helped me nail down my messaging, revamp all my content, and ace the case study interview. You can honestly even get 10+ interviews a week and really find a job that you like and want rather than just what's there.I cannot recommend them enough for anyone on the fence about whether the investment is worth it.

Going through this program gave me the knowledge and the confidence I needed to land a product manager role! Before starting Product Gym, I was in a dead end Administration position and incredibly burnt out, working such long hours for pay that I could barely survive on.In looking for a career that my skills could transfer into, I discovered product management.A really great thing about Product Gym is that they offer an initial discovery call where they meet with you, and talk about your background and skills and assess if you're a good match for the program before you're approved to sign up.The program is a treasure trove of all of the different aspects that you need to know about product management, all taught by different part-time instructors that are actively practicing their craft, and guidance/advice is available through coaches and some alumni that have made their way through this program.A few things to be keenly aware of:*This program doesn't work if you don't. Guidance for nearly every aspect or problem that you could think of is very accessible, but there is no hand holding involved. *Once you commit and start, don't stop. Momentum is everything in this program.*The founders and coaches within this program are rockstars, and they are incredibly candid with any and all direction and feedback. 

Product Gym is a great program not only to learn about PM but to LAND A JOB in a product management. There are many programs that teach you PM skills, but only Product Gym truly helps you connect your prior experience to PM job descriptions, market yourself and tell your stories as a PM. They cracked a model of landing a job in current digital environment and it works. If you are transition to PM or would like to fast track your existing career, I highly recommend PG. It comes with a price tag but pays back big time. Just trust the process and do what Rick, Cody and coaches ask you to do. It’s hard, it’s uncomfortable, but it works and stays with you for a lifetime.

The Product Gym gave me the motivation I needed to start the process of transitioning into a new product management role. I learned to push away my fear of rejection and approach the interview / application process with an analytical lens. The knowledge and confidence I've gained have not only improved my product management skills, but how I value myself as a professional.

TRUST THE PROCESS! With the help of Product Gym, I transitioned from the healthcare industry to a position as a product manager in the tech sector with a double salary. Anyone looking for a new opportunity or transitioning into PM roles should consider Product Gym. I was able to land 2 job offers through their process. As long as you put in the effort, they have wonderful feedback mechanisms and an awesome community that will help you improve your interviewing skills. 

ProductGym is REALLY WORKS!! I had ZERO experience coming from Accounting background. Joining PG has been the best decision I made since I decided to change my career and move into product management. It has been less than 3 months since I started and I have an offer from a company I love.  Consistency is the key! PG curriculum is very well structured and offers great educational content and weekly classes led by industry professionals.

I joined this program to help me position myself in the American market, as I’ve recently moved to Austin, TX from NZ. Rich & Cody have pulled together some fantastic content and built a product community of like minded people in varying stages of their careers - there is something of value in here for everyone. Trust the process and the results will speak for themselves.

Offers tested strategy to break into product. Aside from the methodology, the best thing I got out of the program is the community. Knowing that people in my cohort are going through the same process and experiencing similar highs and lows just helped me remain positive throughout!

A few months ago, I wanted to transition into tech, and/or fintech, but I wasn't really sure how to. A few friends referred me to chat with Rich, the Co-Founder of PG, who instantly identified all the painpoints I felt in my current role. I was working a tireless job in sales, and I didn't know how to pivot. Richard the Co-Founder alleviated all my fears by letting me know, he had already helped thousands of students seamlessly transition from various backgrounds. He also let me know that a lot of my sales skill sets were transferrable and even necessary for the Product role. A few weeks into the program, I was really amazed at how effective the PG-guided resume was. I was literally getting 10-20 interviews a week.. at my peak, I had 11 interviews in 1 day...!! I was really amazed at such results!! Although it was difficult, I felt like I was on to something... I simply trusted the process. As time went by, I really felt like I started to get a hang of what the heck these interviewers wanted to hear from me.. Incrementally, I came to see the importance of working with coaches, and colleagues to get the criticism to make iterative improvements. It wasn't easy hearing someone tell me how to improve this or that, but IT WORKS. After mastering the resume, then the R1, R2/R3 interviews, I started to really struggle with the Case Study component... I was losing a lot of hope.. as I felt like yet again, I had no idea what to do... but I kept pushing with the help and guidance of the coaches.. I kept watching the class videos (don't feel embarrassed to watch the videos over and over again!) and attended the coaching calls. I truly believe, you just have to keep practicing, iterating. Finally, after my 5th case study (yes with 5 different companies..!), I felt like I started to get a hang of this... and I nailed the 6th case study with the help of the coaches. With the help of Product Gym, I accepted an offer to move forward with a Fintech company as a Product Manager for the first time in my life. As a salesgirl with zero background in tech!!!! I am SOOOO happy to be walking away from my old life, and I am totally looking forward to an amazing new career in Fintech!!! It's so funny looking back bc it's exactly what I wanted... although I had NO idea HOW I was gonna get there, I just had some gut feeling that this will work. I'm glad I trusted Rich and followed his program. I've got to say, without PG, none of my dreams would have been possible... I'm SOOO grateful I discovered this program, and I wish everyone else on the platform to continue pushing forward despite any frustrations they feel. I would highly recommend the program to any friend, family member, or anyone struggling with a career they feel dissatisfied in. The program is very helpful and it works. Every step works as intended and the support from the community is really great. If you are looking to land a PM job I highly recommend Product Gym. As they mention on their website, you do have to put in the work, but it gets easier as you gain momentum. Pros: Well Structured, Resourceful, Great Community & Support, Empowering, Result-OrientedCons: There is room for improvement and greater efficiency, but no major complaints.

Product Gym is a fantastic service for anybody who is really motivated to get a foot in the door to a career in product management, regardless of background. The program is highly oriented toward practical steps a person can immediately take to land a coveted product role. Much of the curriculum focuses on job hunting tactics and interviewing preparation. There are also short courses that broadly cover topics related to a career in product management, such as feature prioritization and A/B testing, which while useful don’t go very deep into a given topic.

I would recommend Product Gym to anyone who wants to transition into PM roles or look for new opportunities. Their process helped me apply confidently and land a job offer. They have great feedback mechanisms and an awesome community that helps you improve your interviewing skills as long as you put in the effort.

Prior to joining PG, I actually had a good conversion rate of applications to first and second round interviews. But I really struggled at converting second and above interviews to offers and was seeking help to tell my story effectively in interviews. I did a lot of research reading PG reviews for the past year and LinkedIn stalking graduates to verify claims before pulling the trigger. Once in the program I was pleased with the program’s amazing structure and community which seemed so supportive! The classes are recorded and great to listen through if you can’t attend live. I love that there’s a channel to see everyone’s progress from application to offer - it’s a big motivation to keep your momentum going. The biggest con to me was the branding phase. I could not pass because I fundamentally disagreed with the reviewers. I felt like they wanted me to fabricate parts of my story to fit their very narrow and generic resume template. I ended up getting offers through networking outside of PG. Overall I think the program does what it purports, which is to get its members offers. Is it worth the 6K I paid? Possibly if I can get to the interview coaching I actually need. 

Product Gym is not just like any other program.It is filled with passionate leaders, who will push each other for the betterment of the community.From the warm welcomes, friendly encouragement, and valuable lessons, I cannot think of a better community.I whole heatedly encourage everyone to join this ever-growing community. 

Product Gym has been an excellent resource in helping me land my product management job. The online classes were an excellent resource to build my PM skills. The coaches were extremely responsive to answering my questions, helping me refine my case studies, and providing me with good books to read to improve my PM knowledge. Without the resume help that is provided at the outset of the course I would not have gotten the interview requests from companies in my PM job search. I would not have landed my PM job without the help of Product Gym.
