Bitlabs Academy

Hello everyone, my name is Ayu Patresia Nababan from Universitas Prasetiya Mulya majoring in Food Business Technology. In this 5th semester, I had the good opportunity to take part in the independent campus program, namely MSIB, to be precise the Batch 3 Independent Study at Bitlabs Academy course Data Analytics for Business.

This activity is an accelerated program to prepare participants to become Data Analysts. Participants will be provided with highly relevant technical and non-technical skills from experts in the field of data analysis with current industry needs. I am very excited to be able to take part in this activity and have been able to complete this activity for the last 5 months. I got a lot of new knowledge and experience that I couldn't get in my lectures, because my major on campus and the course I took were irrelevant.

In this activity I met 300 colleagues from all universities throughout Indonesia, and mentors and successful students who were very friendly. The most exciting thing about participating in this activity was the weekly consultation session, where I was in class CS-12 and my mentor made a designated session with the toastmaster, where every week 2 class representatives would show the topics they chose using English, honestly this is very exciting, especially when the friends who bring the topic are very funny.

While participating in a series of activities which were divided into 3 phases namely In Class Training, Mid Semester and Project Based Learning, in my opinion the most exciting phase was when working on individual and group PBL. While during this phase, we are required to work on problem cases that are directly provided by several companies that are collaborating with Bitlabs Academy, I feel nervous that I can immediately experience being a real Data Analyst.

The challenge I faced was that first I had to be able to divide my time, because when participating in this activity I attended lectures offline, besides that my major was irrelevant to the course I was taking so it took additional time outside of the In Class Training to understand the topics I was taking. given so that I am not far behind with my friends whose majors are relevant.

Thank you very much to Bitlabs and the independent campus for holding this program, so that I, as a person who is very basic in the data field, can find out a lot of information about Data Analysts and be interested in going forward to try a new career in Data Analyst. For friends who are still confused about choosing partners for MSIB Merdeka Campus activities, Bitlabs is the right choice for you to develop skills in the field of Data Analyst. Hopefully in the future, this program will continue and can be improved to be even better.

Untuk 5 bulan terakhir ini, saya mengikuti program studi independen Batch 3 dengan tema Data Anaytics, dimana program pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan metode remote. Bitlabs Academy menjadi tujuan utama untuk saya belajar data analis ini.

Mengapa??

Mentor berpengalaman dan expert di bidangnya, modul pembelajaran yang understandable, assignment yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri, dan tentunya yang digandang-gandangkan adalah real industry study case akan didapatkan di sini. Selain itu, Bitlabs academy ini dinilai sangat teratur dan kompeten serta bertanggung jawab.

Hi, I’m Farah from Unsika. I would like to share my experience after joining the program.
This program is a form of collaboration with MSIB Batch 3 Kampus Merdeka which is held for approximately 4-5 months and consists of 3 main phases. The first phase (In-Class Training, Showcase Session, Weekly Consultation) aims to deliver the technical and non-technical learning materials for students, the second phase (Mid Exam) aims to evaluate the student's understanding from the first phase, whereas the third phase (PBL, Career Coaching) aims to deliver the Project-Based Learning based on the industry relevant case for students.
Three things I like the most about this program are the structured, transparent, and comprehensive learning flow and curriculum, instructors & mentors who are reliable & competent in their fields, as well as the opportunity to work on the final project which is a real case study from the industry. Besides that, there are some challenges in the process, but I can deal with and overcome them as best I can.
Hopefully, Bitlabs can continue to improve the quality of their program that remains relevant as their tagline says. If you want to learn about data analytics, then this is such a good step to start because it will be taught from the basics.

Perkenalkan, saya Alif Ramadhani dari program studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Ilmu Komputer, UPN Veteran Jawa Timur.. 

Di studi independen batch 3 ini, saya mengikuti studi independen Data Analytics for Business di Bitlabs Academy. Bitlabs Academy atau Bitlabs merupakan platform pembelajaran skill digital secara online yang menyajikan pengalaman belajar terstruktur dan interaktif, sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman pengguna, serta dapat diakses dengan mudah dan harga terjangkau. Sejak 2019, Bitlabs telah dipercaya oleh lebih dari 120.000 pengguna di seluruh Indonesia, dan turut didukung oleh Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi/Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (Kemenristek/BRIN) dan Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT).

Sistem pembelajaran di Bitlabs Academy dibagi menjadi tiga fase. Di fase pertama peserta, peserta akan mengikuti In Class Training (ICT), yaitu sebuah sesi penyampaian materi teknikal dan non-teknikal. Selain itu, di fase pertama ini peserta juga akan menjalani Showcase Session yang kegiatannya berupa presentasi tugas-tugas yang diberikan saat akhir sesi ICT, dan peserta juga mengikuti Weekly Consultation yang diadakan setiap akhir pekan. Fase ini berlangsung hingga minggu kesepuluh.

Di Fase kedua, peserta akan diwajibkan untuk mengikuti Mid Exam, yaitu mengerjakan project kecil berstatus open data dari Worldbank WDI. Fase kedua ini berlangsung selama seminggu di pekan kesebelas. Dan di fase ketiga, peserta akan diwajibkan mengerjakan final project atau yang disebut dengan Project Based Learning (PBL), dengan mempraktikkan ilmu-ilmu yang sudah didapat dari fase-fase sebelumnya. PBL pertama dikerjakan secara individu selama dua minggu dengan mengambil 2 studi kasus. PBL kedua dikerjakan secara berkelompok dengan durasi dua minggu. Selain final project, kegiatan di fase ketiga ini juga ada Career Coaching, yaitu sesi yang melatih soft skill peserta untuk persiapan menghadapi dunia kerja.

Saya sangat senang belajar bersama Bitlabs Academy. Banyak benefit yang saya dapatkan disini. Disini, saya mendapatkan ilmu-ilmu baru dari para mentor yang memberikan saya gambaran tentang menjadi seorang Data Analyst. Kemudian, disini saya juga mendapat teman-teman baru dari universitas se-Indonesia. Mahasiswa akan mendapat ilmu praktis dan sertifikasi yang  sesuai kebutuhan industri. Mahasiswa juga akan dituntut untuk berkreasi untuk mengimplementasikan ilmu sesuai standar industri. Selama belajar di Bitlabs Academy,saya merasa tertantang dengan adanya Project Based Learning, dimana mahasiswa mengambil studi langsung dari suatu perusahaan. Dan yang terakhir, saya rasa program pembelajaran di Bitlabs Academy ini sudah cukup membantu memudahkan mahasiswa untuk mendapat ilmu-ilmu baru. Peraturan disini juga tegas, saya akui saya suka dengan aturan di Bitlabs ini, karena akan membantu mahasiswa untuk menjadi pribadi yang disiplin dan bertanggung jawab.  

Pesan saya, semoga program ini terus dilaksanakan untuk membantu masa depan mahasiswa se-Indonesia dalam menyiapkan diri untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja setelah lulus kuliah.

Hello, I'm Ismi, a statistics major from Diponegoro University.

Through the MSIB program run by the Ministry of Education and Culture, I participated in this activity. This process took roughly five months. Each participant has a student success who contributes to the informational flow. There are mentors for each group who will aid in understanding the offered content in addition to ensuring student achievement.

I learned a lot from this activity, especially with reference to data analysis. Here, I picked up both technical and non-technical knowledge. I have some technical knowledge of Looker, BigQuery, Python, and spreadsheets. I learned how to grasp a position from the Data Analyst themselves for non-technical people.

The assignments provided—from homework to project-based learning—really enable me to have a sense of what to expect when I start working as a data analyst in a particular sector of the economy.

Finally, I would want to thank Bitlabs Academy.

Hi, I'm Azaria Akhbar, a PSDKU Padjadjaran University Business Administration student who has been selected to participate in the Independent Campus independent study at Data Analytics for Business, Bitlabs Academy.

I learnt a lot about data with Bitlabs over the course of 5 months, and it was an unforgettable experience. This curriculum includes both technical and non-technical skills that are relevant to industry needs and the best expertise from industry experts (soft skills). I learned a lot of new things, such as data analytics, SQL and Python programming languages, data visualization, data, and data dashboarding, among other things.

Bitlabs Academy's learning technique is highly pleasurable, thanks to supporting friends, very motivating mentors, and very thrilling student accomplishment. Balancing theory and practice in learning requires individuals to be more creative and critical in their problem-solving abilities.

The important thing to remember when participating in this bootcamp is that you must quickly understand and be diligent in exploring self-taught technical materials like SQL and Python because the curriculum provided is too fast and the use of coding requires a deep and complicated understanding of material. Overall, this bootcamp is incredibly beneficial for those of you who want to acquire a sense of what it's like to work as a data analyst in the future.

 Perkenalkan saya victor, mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Informatika dari  Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya. Saya mengikuti program Data Analytics for Business Bootcamp di Bitlabs Academy. Saya mendapatkan ilmu,teman dan pengalaman selama mengikuti program ini 

Selama bulan agustus sampai dengan desember mengikuti program saya menerima ilmu  terkait data analisis berupa (bpmn, sql, python, visualisasi menggunakan looker, dan statistika)  melalui sesi In Class Training, Showcase, Weekly Constultation, hingga sesi Career Couching terkait persiapan karir sebagai seorang data analyst. Hal paling berkesan bagi saya selama mengikuti program ini yaitu saya mengetahui cara kerja seorang data analyst maupun data scientist.Selain itu saya berlatih untuk menyelesaikan projek dengan data real terkait penyelesaian suatu masalah bisnis dengan menggunakan tools yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan
 
 Materi di program ini sangat mudah dipahami, terstruktur dan lengkap. Plus ada studi kasusnya juga jadi bisa langsung praktek. Terima kasih Bitlabs Academy!

Halo, perkenalkan saya Maya Dwi Lestari mahasiswa UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur semester 7 jurusan Agribisnis. 

Program bootcamp ini merupakan kerjasama dengan pihak MSIB Kampus Merdeka Kemendikbud yang berdurasi 4 bulan dengan 3 fase. Fase pertama terdiri dari In Class Training, Showcase Session, dan Weekly Consultation. Fase kedua yaitu Mid Exam. Fase ketiga terdiribdari Project Based Learning, Career Coaching, Pitching Fay, dan fasilitas untuk Counseling. 

Pengalaman mengikuti bootcamp ini memberikan saya bekal melalui hard skill serta soft skill yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri. Banyak manfaat yang saya dapatkan, seperti pengalaman dan portofolio projectyang dibutuhkan untuk persiapan karier di masa depan. Materi yang diberikan juga sangat lengkap dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Instruktur dan mentor tentunya sudah berpengalaman di bidangnya, terbukti dengan memberikan penjelasan yang tidak hanya seputar materi saja namun juga membagikan informasi terkait karier sebagai Data Analyst yang sebenarnya. Case study yang akan dikerjakan merupakan real case dari para mitra Bitlabs Academy. Meskipun saya merasakan kesulitan karena jurusan tidak relevan dengan bidang yang dipelajari, namun pada akhirnya saya juga mampu untuk menyelesaikan program ini sampai akhir dan hal tersebut menjadi reward untuk saya sendiri. Banyak hal yang bisa saya dapatkan dari pengalaman tersebut, termasuk berani keluar dari zona nyaman dan memulai mengenal hal yang sebelumnya mungkin kita pikir sulit namun ternyata mampu dilalui. 

Secara keseluruhan, selama mengikuti program Data Analytics for Business di Bitlabs Academy sangat menyenangkan dan berkesan. Semoga ke depannya instrukturnya bisa sebagus dan seasik kak Stephanie serta jumlah case study di Project Based Learning semakin bervariasi.

Hello my name is hisyam, from one of known university in indonesia, I was Studied here for approximately 5 months from August-December 2022. A very good program for introduction to the world of data analysis. The mentors are very helpful and indeed people who are experts in their fields. The material is quite basic and can be followed by participants who are not from an IT/information systems background. so far so good experience, this bootcamp is suitable for everyone who want to start career in tech area especially data

I’m Aulia Firdauzi from UPN “Veteran” Jawa Timur. I’m beyond happy and grateful because I just finished Data Analytics for Business Program at Bitlabs Academy. Learning schema at Bitlabs Academy is divided into 3 phases, namely 1st phase learning (In Class Training, Showcase Session, Weekly Consultation, and Counselling), 2nd phase learning (Mid Exam), and 3rd phase learning (Project Based Learning, Career Coaching, Pitching Day).

During the learning program, I got a lot of knowledge and new insights from both technical skill material and soft skill material. In every learning session I was amazed by the cool instructors, mentors, and career coaches and best practice from expert in their industry. This also makes me even more enthusiastic to take part in every learning session in the program.

So, for those of you who are interested in having a career as a Data Analyst, but without an IT background, you can take part in the Data Analytics for Business Program from Bitlabs Academy, because in this program you will be taught step by step, so you can understand it very well.

Greetings! I'm Alvin Wihono, a Physics undergraduate student with a specialization in Material Science.

The "Data Analytics for Business" program is a bootcamp taught by Bitlabs Academy in collaboration with MSIB Kampus Merdeka Kemendikbud. The program lasted for around 5 months and can be grouped into 3 phases. The first phase consists of in-class trainning and showcase sessions where the students have the chance to learn and discuss the learning modules with the mentors. The second phase is a midterm exam to check students' understanding of previous lessons. The last phase is a set of problem based learning projects where students have the chance to do real projects related to data analytics.

Bitlabs Academy is by far the best bootcamp I have ever experienced. For someone with a non-IT major, I found this course very interesting and easy to understand. Through my journey, I met many amazing people and gained so much knowledge and experience. The mentors and instructors are also very kind and willing to help those in need. It is truly a nice experience to learn data analytics with Bitlabs Academy.

I wish Bitlabs Academy could reach more people and bring their best for the betterment of Indonesia's future.
