I recently completed the software engineering bootcamp, and it was truly an amazing experience. Not only did I gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field, but I also had the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals who felt like family. The sense of community and support was incredible, and I made lifelong friends in the industry.

The bootcamp provided a comprehensive curriculum that covered all the essential topics in software engineering. From coding languages to software development methodologies, I learned practical skills that have significantly boosted my confidence in pursuing a software engineering career.

The instructors were knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to helping us succeed. They fostered a positive learning environment where questions were encouraged, and hands-on projects allowed us to apply what we learned. The guidance and mentorship I received throughout the bootcamp were invaluable.

It is not easy to learn and become a software engineer and Brainstation Miami made it a great experience. This is a no fluff course. You go straight into coding and learning real world experiences. Brainstation has a horde of talented instructors who are available for you to schedule plenty of 1 on 1 time with titans who really know their stuff.
The curriculum is brutal, and if you choose the 3 month bootcamp for data science, you're in for a wild ride.

It starts off slow and steady, learning some SQL, learning some reporting and communication practices,
then it goes into python and begins accelerating rapidly into advanced statistical concepts.

If you are honestly, (be honest with yourself), capable of maintaining focus for 80 HOURS A WEEK on course material, studying, and working the content, this bootcamp is the best there is for you.

However, I wish I did not take the 3 month class. I hardly had time to breathe. Read less

This bootcamp was jam-packed with so much information that is overwhelming at first but when you take a moment to thinking about it, it’s so amazing to realize the sheer amount of skills you learn, both hard and soft skills. I learned a lot from this class! I didn't have much experience with coding beforehand, but by at the end of the course I created a nice looking webpage. There was a lot of educational material provided by the school and education material on the internet. My teachers guided me and this is what helped me gain the capabilities that I needed.

The class was challenging which changed me as a person. I was shy when I started out in the class, but I gained confidence after I proved that I could handle the work and educational material. The class can be really intense for some, but I was able to get my work done because of my persistence. Read less

As a recent graduate of Brainstation's Software Engineering program, I cannot recommend a better program for those considering a bootcamp.  The instructional staff, which included multiple talented teaching assistant's from prior cohorts, provided exceptional support throughout the course while the projects and learning materials are exceptionally curated.  The course is tailored for beginners, however gives plenty of opportunities for students to move outside their comfort zone.  I cannot recommend a better course for those who want to be able to build full-stack web applications independently.   Read less

Good Course. Well taught. Gives you all info current as per market conditions and updated technologies being used and how to use them . I really liked learning about google ads and keyword planners, technical aspects of marketing including google analytics and demos were very useful. Read less

Entering the 4-week course, I knew the classes would be dense and fast-paced. But what I didn't expect was the retain all of the information by the end of the ~8 hour session. This alone is thanks to the wonderful instructors Aadil Khan and Emi Sato. They were both punctual, knowledgeable, and prepared. They also had a very good sense of awareness when it came to information overload, and would prompt a short break or lunch right when it was needed.

On top of this, the course structure was built in a way that the first class taught most of the theory and principles behind UX design. Every class after that became lighter and more playful. This approach left excited about what I had learned, and looking forward to the next class. Each class included slideshows with points explaining a broad and narrowed topic that the instructors would expand upon with their experience in the industry. This was vital for us to understand how the lessons relate to the real-world. We also had a few exercises where class-mates would work with each other. For example, we were told to interview each other after creating a script of questions to try and narrow down the persons core needs and pinpoints on a particular subject. Lastly, the online learning platform had some issues but still had an easy-to-use dashboard to access all course materials

Overall, I am pleased with the course from BrainStation and would learn from them again. I would recommend this course to anyone considering a new career, or pivoting to a different focus within design like me. Read less

What most stood out to me, consistently across the course, was the caliber of talent Brain Station brings on. Each instructor for my digital marketing course was both well qualified to lead the course and also generous in the time they took to lay it out using practical, real-world examples. The Brain Station Data Analytics course was really thorough and went into a lot of technical detail. As a PM, I now have a really good understanding of how to use SQL and Tableau, which helps me collaborate better with my data and engineering colleagues and understand more about where data comes from.
