The Data Analytics course at BrainStation is a really useful intro, covering the basics of Excel, SQL and Tableau. It was really well taught by our instructor, Ana, and she was very good at explaining concepts when people needed extra support. The perfect balance of lectures and hands-on work. The instructor was able to bring in real-life examples to drive key concepts home. My classmates were very friendly and helpful. Best decision of my life. I'll say right off the bat: You have to REALLY want this. I was nervous at first because I was making a career change and wasn't sure if this was where I absolutely wanted to go, but learning all the concepts, skills and processes made me realize that this is exactly where I'm supposed to be. It was also lots of hard work and short deadlines, but it never felt like a "chore" like in my previous schooling and work. The instructors were great and really help also, I wish I used them more! Having previously attended a part-time bootcamp, I can say that this program goes above and beyond. This program fully prepares you from 0 to being able to secure a full time job in 3 months.
