Lean, MVP, validated learning, and finding Product-Market Fit are all amazing concepts, and here the course provides very well structured and detailed illustrations on these with updated tools including Figma, Google Analytics and ChatGPT. I would give the course a 3.5/5 in terms of my overall experience. The course content was helpful from an introductory lense, and there was a wide variety of topics covered. To get more value out of the course personally, I think I will need to practice solving more SQL queries via another Udemy course.
We had 2 instructors who taught us data analytics, Calvin and Ramin. I think Ramin is a thoughtful and knowledgeable instructor in his delivery. You can tell he is very experienced. Calvin was knowledgeable, given his work experience at Amazon and Masters in Analytics but he needs to improve his communication and presentation skills. I don't think he was very effective teacher compared to Ramin.
There are 2 major improvement areas for this course in my opinion: (1) Weekly Tutorials and (2) Mandatory Quizzes would really help the content stick a lot better.
(1) Setting aside 1hr per week for instructors to provide tutorials for students (this could be virtual or in-person time slots for students to come in, ask questions about homework or concepts that they don't yet understand)

The course was really helpful for learning about the process of UX design and I felt like every lecture I took away several key points that I will definitely apply in the future. The class was small and the instructors excellent. Overall, a great experience.
The only small disappointment with the course is that the curriculum itself does not cover the use of Figma but it is expected to be used, which made the course more time-intensive than I was expecting. All in all I spent much more time on the final project in the last couple weeks than I really expected, but I don't still don't feel it is portfolio-ready as advertised due to not quite having enough time / efficiency here to polish this well, not for a lack of trying. If you're attempting to learn Web Development from online providers (e.g. through YouTube or PluralSight, Coursera etc.) and you find yourself hitting walls - then I would strongly recommend taking this course. It's 12 weeks and you will be up to speed before you know it. You will level-up and unlock a whole world of further learning and self-study to really become a strong Software Engineer.
