The course is a good intro to Manual testing and testing software in general, but there are many other advanced aspects of testing not covered. If you need automated testing skills this is too basic for you and you should look for a more advanced course. Great for beginners, too basic for some.Anna of Careerist

Great platform if you are looking for a new job.
Great platform if you are looking for a new job. I took the Manual QA course (class of July 2020) and the instructors and mentors were really supportive and patient. Normally I find remote learning a bit challenging, but it worked really well because of how practical and rich the program was. I feel ready to start my career in QA and considering taking the advance course (QA Automation) in the future, when I feel ready to learn some code.
I think if you are looking for practical...Great platform if you are looking for a new job. Underwhelming and overpriced
My experience at Careerist was underwhelming. The course involved listening to stories and role-playing. Negative comments on Slack are deleted, which is misleading. The job search tool is just a job board for LinkedIn and Indeed. Totally Unsatisfied with the Internship part of Program
The course of learning the technical part of being a manual QA technician, careerist gets 5 stars but who can't write a 5 star course of information in a powerpoint presentation. Today it is all about the hands on work which is where things got dicey. The internal internship was great! My team lead was very informative and completed his part of reviewing and giving feedback in a timely manner. I am currently at the end of the intern and I have completed all five task that were assigned to me and have not received not one review or feedback on any of the work that I have completed. Then when I reach out to the internship group as well as my team lead I feel as I was brushed off. I get a message from the intern group saying they will reach out to the team lead and I get a message from my team lead that says "It was a technical error and that I have passed the internship". But me being the technical person I am I went back to look at my task again and woooooow they are still sitting waiting to be reviews with no feedback at all not even a great job. So did I really pass? Horrible experience at this point especially for that amount of money spent. Maybe I'm a one off but if I could do the whole process over I definitely would not.
