    Good entry point into tech

Careerist teachers know how to deal with students who can’t write a single line of code. They dole out the information in small doses. When they share a fact they always explain why it’s like that and how you can deal with it. I appreciate it! Besides, they talk a lot about the ins and outs of recruiting in the tech industry. I feel like I’m ready for my first job interview, but let me graduate first.

My mentor convinced me I’m not hopeless

I wanted to break into data analytics… In the 2nd month of the course I felt like it might not be for me. I was among the worst-performing students and I even thought about giving up. But first I asked the teachers for help and they held several extra consultations with me so I could catch up with the others. Later I felt inspired and motivated again, and my performance improved too. I’m really grateful for such support!

    Possible to learn

It is broken down so you are able to learn and apply what you have learned. If you stick with it you’ll understand it. Didn’t really like how it was always different instructors some were better at teaching than others. The internship helped to learn alot because it’s hands on it can be overwhelming sometimes but it’s doable. Overall I liked it no complaints

Don’t skip classes and the rest will be fine

The biggest mistake I made was skipping online classes. 😬 I had no tech experience and I took the QA bundle. I struggled to catch up with the rest of the group. When I put more effort into my studies I began to perform much better. The teachers were super helpful. They explained both the tech part and the career part in detail. They were always patient and positive. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to study diligently.

    Currently looking for a job

I had my ups and downs during my studies. Some things weren’t easy to understand. Sometimes I didn’t have enough time because I also work full-time. I wish the teachers and career coaches could spend more time with me... Anyway, I’m happy that I graduated and learned so much useful info! For now I’ve had only one job interview and they didn’t hire me. I’m staying optimistic and keeping on searching!

    Positive impressions only

I’ve been studying systems engineering for 2 months and my perception of this occupation has changed considerably… It turned out to be more difficult and exciting than I imagined. They say that generally people study 6-8 hours per week on this course, but for me it takes around 10 hours because I want to memorize every single detail and I practice a lot on my own. Hopefully I will keep enjoying it until graduation.

I wish I had joined Careerist earlier

I began to think about online tech courses two years ago. First I lacked money and then I wasn’t sure which course to choose. Now I’m about to complete the Systems Engineering course at Careerist. I haven’t found a job yet but I’ve talked to graduates who are employed and they inspire me. Career coaching is so comprehensive so I’m not too worried about the job search.

Career coaching was the best part

I haven't worked for the last 10 years because I have small kids and I had no technical background, so I was quite nervous at the beginning of the course. Surprisingly the tech part of the studies was the easiest for me. I enjoyed doing the tasks and receiving feedback! The instructors said I was a quick learner, :) but I felt a bit insecure because I didn't know how to deal with employers. My career coach helped me a lot, she was absolutely brilliant! She explained everything to me and ...

    Expensive but rewarding

The only thing I don’t like about careerist is the price! However, other providers charge just as much or even more... I borrowed funds to buy a course and I felt nervous because I wasn’t sure if this investment would pay off. But it seems it will! I spent 7 weeks after graduation looking for jobs. I had no results but then two companies invited me for an interview at the same time. Now I’m waiting for responses. If none of them accepts me I know I will find something, but of course it t...

    Up-to-date and informative

I’ve recently finished the course and now I can share my experience. In general it was great. I appreciated the well-structured curriculum and large amount of applied and up-to-date information. No boring, outdated theory, only practical advice and real cases. I can't say anything about employment yet but I really liked the content of the course.
