Students will become proficient in JavaScript, giving life to static pages, and seizing the powers of interactivity and connectivity. The bootcamp helps students master React, the sought-after JavaScript library, and TypeScript, to write cleaner, more scalable code. Students will also learn back end systems with Node.JS, Express, and SQL, forging robust and efficient web services. The bootcamp culminates with a capstone project that showcases a student’s newfound capabilities to potential employers.

Devslopes is for students of all experience levels. Beginners are welcome. A Devslopes admissions official will reach out to complete the enrollment process after an applicant completes a short assessment.

Devslopes offers dedicated career coaching, rooted in the Dream 100 strategy, and provides a clearly defined path to the companies and positions a student aspires to. Devslopes also offers a unique freelance program that bridges the professional gap, providing students with the platform to earn income and gain invaluable professional experience as they progress through the course.

    Great way to challenge yourself

I'm very much a person that likes to teach himself things, and have often found that in the past I would get stuck, and really not be able to find any solution for what I was trying to fix, and this specific course has been a great help for me to me eliminate that worry when it came to coding, and allowed me to really consistently stick to learning and progressing almost every day.

I do think generally speaking that the curriculum is very tailored to people that like to teach them...

    Absolutely phenomenal!

Devslopes offer the best coding experience ever! They are very honest when it comes to goals and expectations, their curriculum is easy to do and understand and every week there is always something going on. They also offer a few programs especially for those without laptops and I got a free laptop from them completely for free and for you to keep so absolutely no excuses everyday is a coding day at devslopes! I highly suggest this program if you haven't yet tried it!

    Exceptional, Amazing, ideal

This learning experience has been absolutely mind-blowing, and I’ve barely scratched the surface in just two months. The instructors? Oh man, they're on a whole other level, like the cool professors you wish you had in college. They don’t just teach you to code; they show you how to thrive in the wild world of freelancing too. It’s like unlocking a whole new realm of possibilities, you know? I thought I knew a thing or two about coding before, but this program? It’s like hitting fast-for...

    Exceeded all of my expections.

When I enrolled at Devslopes, I already had quite a bit of background knowledge in web development, computer science, and IT. So much so that I recall being quite hesitant, as I wasn't sure if their curriculum would be able to give me much that I wasn't already familiar with. However this boot camp advertised itself as being focused on freelancing. Since my goal was to be able to earn money through programming, it didn't matter if I learned any technical skills or not, if they could teac...

    This is a horrible experience

Communication is horrible and there is no one to contact for individual support via zoom or phone. I do not recommend this course to anyone. I asked that someone assist me with completing the first exercise to make sure I was doing it correctly and no one helped. Again, I do not recommend

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's disappointing to hear that you’ve encountered such challenges with communication and support within our program. Providing accessible and individualized assistance is fundamental to us, and it seems we have not lived up to those standards in your case.

Your experience serves as a crucial reminder of where we need to focus our efforts on improvement. Offering direct support through avenues like Zoom or phone should be straightforward and seamless, ensuring every student feels heard, supported, and guided through their learning journey. It’s clear that we have work to do in this area.

The point you raised about needing assistance with the first exercise and not receiving the help you requested is especially concerning. It highlights a gap in our support system that we are committed to addressing. Learning is a collaborative process, and every request for help is an opportunity for us to fulfill our promise of guiding you towards mastery of your craft.

We're taking your feedback as a directive for immediate review and action. Meanwhile, we would appreciate the opportunity to make this right by offering you the individual support you were seeking initially. Please contact Jack directly within Discord, so we can arrange for a personalized session to walk you through the exercises and any other areas where you need clarification or assistance.

Your voice has been heard, and it matters deeply to us. It’s feedback like yours that fuels our drive to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our students. We’re here to support your growth every step of the way and are committed to making the necessary improvements to ensure a positive and fulfilling learning experience for all.

    Devslopes accelerated my coding journey

I joined Devslopes in  2022 looking to make a career transition as a software engineer. The goal was to get a job where I can work remotely while making a decent income. Their freelance program sold me on the idea that you can "earn while you learn" and was the determining factor on why i chose them. I'm not a natural salesman so when I started freelancing my communication skills werent where they needed to be to attract clients and land projects. However after following the guidance wit...

    it's a for profit bootcamp

Most importantly there are two facts that will not be presented to you until it is too late:
    1) you can "sample" the academy to determine if its a good fit for free.
    2) if you sign up and finance, the contract is specifically worded to juice you for all you're good for. It states in the contract that you can't escape through bankruptcy. You cannot get a full refund at any point. You cannot get any refund after 10 days. The amount you are refunded starts at like 80% on day of signin...

Great environment with great people to learn from

I debated on joining devslopes because I've already been to school for computer science and software engineering, but I'm glad I did because it brings a different experience than going to school. I learned a bunch of theory in my classes, but I don't remember coding much. In devslopes, you are constantly working on projects! One thing that I enjoy a lot is the online learning hours with the mentors. You join their scheduled zoom calls where you can ask the questions you're stuck on, and ...
