    Devslopes Academy is Rad~

Learning how to build professional websites was always a dream of mine since high school. Life's challenges temporarily diverted me from this path. However, in 2022, I decided to make a significant change, and enrolling in this school was the turning point. I acquired skills in full-stack development and secured freelance opportunities. Collaborating on professional projects with fellow students simulated a real team environment, fostering strong relationships with mentors and the c...

    SCAM - HIGHLY UNETHICAL CEO

This is simply a money grab.... They will tell you that you have a 10 day cancellation period when your signing the contract. Thats even IN the contract.. But they ghost you for your first 10 days when trying to talk to any employee to cancel!! (the coding mentors will just tell you that not my job, talk to someone else )

So then on your 11th day you'll get hit with a response saying "Sorry, your past your cancelation period !!"

If you even MENTION this being illegal or...

We're genuinely sorry to hear about your frustrating experience, and we want to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It's clear that what you’ve encountered is far from the standard of service and support we aspire to provide. Our goal is to empower individuals on their path to becoming full-stack software engineers, not to create barriers or cause stress.

Firstly, regarding the cancellation period, it's disheartening to learn that there was a breakdown in communication right from the start. This is not how we operate, nor does it reflect our values. We believe in making every part of our process—from signing up to navigating through the program—as clear and accessible as possible. The experience you described is a miss on our part, and we are taking immediate steps to investigate and ensure that no one else has to face a similar situation.

We also want to address the interaction—or lack thereof—with our coding mentors. Our mentors are here to guide you through the learning process, and any redirection regarding program cancellations should have been handled with much more care and direct assistance. We’re looking into this miscommunication to prevent future occurrences.

Regarding the actions taken after raising concerns about the cancellation policy, we want to clarify that it’s never our intention to silence or penalize our students for voicing their grievances. Open dialogue is crucial, and every student deserves to be heard and supported throughout their learning journey, especially when issues arise.

Here's how we're addressing your concerns:
    1. Immediate Review of Communication Processes: We’re auditing our current systems to pinpoint where breakdowns are happening and to implement improvements.
    2. Enhanced Training for Our Team: Ensuring every team member, including mentors, understands the importance of direct and helpful communication.
    3. Revisiting Our Cancellation Policy: To ensure its fairness and transparency, making adjustments where necessary.
    4. Direct Support Line: We're establishing a more straightforward way for students to raise concerns and receive timely responses, especially regarding cancellations.
Your situation is not taken lightly, and we're committed to making things right. Please reach out to us directly at team@devslopes.com, so we can discuss a resolution that works for you, including addressing your financial concerns.

Your feedback is a catalyst for necessary change within our program. We're here to support your ambitions, not hinder them, and we hope to have the opportunity to prove that to you.

What more could I ask for?! :)

Devslopes is your final stop. Look no further! As a current student I have learned more in the past three months at Devslopes than the last 3 years studying on my own! The professors are amazing, they have classes scheduled literally all throughout the day, and their Discord community is exactly what you want on Discord. They thoroughly talked through the program before I enrolled, they gave me clear payments answers(also gave me a few options,) and their Empowerment specialist(Shawn) is...

    Terrible Communication and Assistance

Do not waste your money and time with this scam of a bootcamp. They pressure you on the phone when you have your interview to sign up and quickly coerce you into taking out a loan, which is red flag number one. Then everything they advertise with their super supportive “mentorship” and student run Discord chat is not helpful at all. No one can answer your questions on Discord and the mentorship’s availability is limited and do not provide good or helpful advice. You’re basically left to ...

Website ad says "free", it's not.

Deceptive advertising, they not only specifically use the word free "Your free career & freelance planning call", you're get paid for freelance work.

It ends up being quite expensive, with no credentials to take with you.

Devslope is a scam, they don't refund you your money and they pocket your money. They made me take a loan out that I didn't even want and did not tell me about. Then refuses to refund me the money

We hear you loud and clear, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience with Devslope didn’t meet your expectations. Our mission has always been to empower individuals like you to pivot towards a fulfilling career in full-stack software engineering, equipping them with not just the skills but also the confidence and resilience needed to thrive.

It’s disheartening to learn that the financial aspect of our program has led to such a significant concern. We strive to be transparent about the investment involved in this transformational journey, including the support systems we have for those who are fully committed. It seems there was a breakdown in communication regarding our 10-day refund policy, which is designed to give enough time to assess the fit of the program. We're truly sorry if this was not made clear, and it led you to make a decision that wasn’t in your best interest.

We understand that taking a loan is a significant commitment and not a decision to be made lightly. Our intention is never for anyone to feel pressured but rather fully informed and supported in whatever choice they make. For that, we apologize if we fell short.

Regarding your participation, our programs do require engagement and active involvement. It’s through this commitment that we see transformations happen. When a participant is inactive, it limits what both of us can achieve together.

Yet, we’re here for you. We believe in tough love, in saying it as it is because, at the end of the day, our goal is your success. We invite you to reach out to us directly at team@devslopes.com. Let’s work together to find a resolution that aligns with our shared goal of empowerment and growth. It’s never too late to turn things around.
