Program Review: AI & Machine Learning Certificate Program – UT AustinEnrolling in the AI & Machine Learning Certificate Program offered by The University of Texas at Austin in collaboration with Great Learning has been one of the most rewarding educational experiences in my career. The curriculum is thoughtfully structured, balancing theoretical foundations with practical applications, which makes it suitable for professionals at various stages of their data and AI journey and also non-professionals .The program provides a deep dive into key concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, and model deployment strategies. The hands-on projects and real-world case studies helped me solidify my understanding and confidently apply these skills in practical scenarios. In today’s AI-driven world, staying relevant in the field is essential, and this program truly met my expectations. The content was rich and insightful, going beyond the basics to cover edge cases and real-world challenges, along with practical strategies for addressing them.It’s an intensive course that demands a significant time commitment, which can be challenging if you have a full-time job or travel frequently. However, even with limited time, there's a lot to gain. I highly recommend creating a plan to carve out dedicated time for it, it's absolutely worth the effort.The support provided throughout the program was excellent. I really love this program, before the start of the management kept calling me giving me the very support I need to learn and understand the program better and even after registering they were still contacting me making sure everything is doing great during program and whenever I have questions they reply the same day. This has been an excellent program for understanding the many processes and techniques used in management of data, for training machines as accurately as possible to be model-ready to support a variety of industries. The program uses respected experts to teach, mentor, guide, and support you through the multi-month training course. The online course requires viewing videos, numerous quizzes (for assessing understanding), live group meetings with a mentor, and completing several projects to demonstrate what you’ve learned. Our program manager consistently guided us through the 9-month program to ensure we stayed informed and met the many requirements of the course.
I enjoyed listening to real-world experiences with examples from the instructors, mentors, and students in the cohort, to better understand the “whys” for what we are learning and how the substantial AI-ML processes we studied are commonly used in major business fields such as healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing. The education gained into what I term the “behind the scene innerworkings” of developing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models will prove most helpful in future business pursuits.
For adult learners from different career paths who enter into this curriculum for the first time, you will be well-briefed on the program’s demands and structure. It is a well designed, supportive environment, with ample opportunities provided for working through challenging concepts and follow-up learning. I recommend this course. Read less

This program was perfect for a working parent and adult like me. Like so many of my colleagues and peers, I’ve found it difficult to continue my education while juggling a full time job and the requirements of being a single parent. However, this 12-week course easily fit into my schedule, requiring about an hour or so a night in course study and review, plus a relatively small time commitment on the weekends (a couple of hours for live class sessions, plus optional content for hands on training). In addition to standard coursework of reading texts, watching videos, and live classes with your cohort, there are also three projects to be done that I found challenging and highly applicable to my work. Those took some time, but I genuinely enjoyed them!

I found the course work highly relevant to the job I currently have and I’m certain it will be beneficial for any future endeavors I embark on. The faculty and staff I interacted with were all attentive and helpful.

As part of career upgrade planning, I enrolled into MIT Professional education course NCAIML. This was truly a phenomenal course for all this who are serious about learning AI/ML in 4 months of time. The course content, training materials, Weekend online classes, project submission, Instructors were excellent. My Program Manager Twinkle made sure weekly rosters are sent out in advance for a thorough preparation. Course materials cover various topics including - AI Landscape, Structured, Unstructured data, Prediction Methods, Recommendation Systems, Neural networks, Decision Trees, Computer Vision methods. Taking the MIT No Code AI ML class provides great insight into the application of AI and ML with many fields of industry. The course is in-depth and thorough and teaches how to use no code tools and how to interpret the results. The knowledge gained is easily adapted to my current career needs. The format of learning and resources are fantastic, and the Great Learning team is very supportive and encouraging of success. This is a program that teaches you the backbone of AI. If you are looking to learn about NO CODE Tools to build workflows that predicts and understand AI from the beggining: This is your course. This is not an Agentic AI Course, and isn't a Gen AI Course.  Read less

The program curriculum was very well structured to get you a strong foundation as a beginner in the AI&ML space. It maintains a good balance across theory and challenges you in form of real life projects to apply the concepts learned. While a bit fast paced considering I was also juggling full time work, I found it to be extremely engaging and feel like I have a great foundation after finishing the program.  I also want to make special mention of my program manager Himanshu who went above and beyond in providing me support to complete my assignments especially in weeks when work was crazy or when I was traveling. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend this program to someone looking to get their hands dirty in the AI&ML arena. Read less

I recently completed the Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning offered through Great Learning & UT Austin, and I have to say the experience was absolutely wonderful!  Through curated asynchronous curriculum videos as well as weekly live mentored learning sessions and a slew of hands-on projects, I learned an incredible amount in a relatively short time.  The content was just what I was looking for and the support staff was responsive to all of my queries.  I only wish they had job placement support.  Nevertheless, I learned an incredible amount and am glad I did the program. I'm currently completing the MIT No-Code AI and Machine Learning program through Great Learning, and so far the experience has been outstanding. The course provides a solid foundation in AI and machine learning, even for those who don’t come from a coding background.

What I’ve appreciated most is the focus on the mathematical and statistical concepts behind the models. Even though it's a no-code course, understanding the theory is critical and this program explains it clearly and thoroughly, with just the right amount of detail.

The support from the Great Learning team has been exceptional. A special thanks to my Program Manager, Twinkle, who has been incredibly helpful from the very start, whether it was navigating the learning platform, setting up the necessary software, or answering questions along the way. Everything has been organized, timely, and smooth.
I'm looking forward to completing the course soon, and I already feel much more confident in applying learnings in a business context.

The No Code AI and Machine Learning program offered at GreatLearning.com has far surpassed my expectations. I have always wanted to learn about AI, but did not have time to learn coding at the proper level. I wanted to take a course that could turn my interests into something meaningful, and I could apply what I learned from this program in my professional environment.

Like I mentioned before, this program’s curriculum has a systematic approach that begins with the theoretical aspects, and it goes through various practical applications in a stepwise manner. It covers the important aspects of AI and Machine Learning and ensures that learners of all levels can gradually build their skills. With a balance between theory and practice, the coursework was both enjoyable and valuable.

I was able to focus on what is really important in AI, including the concepts and models at its core. I was free to learn and apply AI through the no-code platforms introduced as part of the course.

The mentors and instructors possess great overall knowledge and excellent skills. Their insightful explanations of complicated ideas and prompt constructive feedback bolstered my learning. As for the support team, they were equally diligent in responding to questions and facilitating a seamless journey throughout the program. 

I am already able to confidently use AI and ML techniques to solve business problems at work. It is more than just a course; it is an accelerator.
