After finishing the course I was reached by 3 hiring managers for Product Management positions. The instructors were there to help me prep for the interviews( from the screening phone call, all the way up to the final rounds). The learning material and content published by Product Gym definitely helped me land a job as an Associate Product Manager for a growing company in the people’s workforce space.  In addition, my salary increased by more than ~100%!!!! (I was freelancing previous to this)

I would definitely recommend Product Gym to any of my colleagues trying to break into Product Management.

I was fortunate enough to meet Rich during one of the meet ups organized by Product Gym. To say he’s been an instrumental help in upgrading my resume, recommending me for product manager jobs, coaching me through every step of the way would be an understatement.

Within meeting him for the first time, I had already gotten interviews to 2 companies (within 2 days) which weren’t even happening for me before.  I also met a few people who he connected me with who have helped immensely to sharpen my focus on landing a PM job. They really do know what they are doing and I have also spoken with a few of the alumni who sing praises for Product Gym and how they have really helped them land the PM job they really wanted.

They focus on applying for jobs and generating interviews as much as possible because in the end, that’s what you really want right? To get a PM job as soon as you can. They value your time and teach you the essentials of what you will incur in your experience as a PM. I would really recommend them if your looking for a PM job. It will definitely shorten the time that you spend because the advice that they give you is gold and works out here in the world.

Product Gym was a very valuable resource that helped me land a Senior Product Manager role in less than 60 days from when I started applying, despite not having a traditional background in product management and during a crazy time in tech layoffs. I also received another offer during this time that I respectfully declined. 

PG offers multiple levels of resources including pre-recorded courses, resume / cover letter / LinkedIn profile help from real product management professionals, an ecosystem of community with other members, live coaching calls where you can ask questions and learn so much, and more. 

What I found to be most helpful to me personally was the resume help (shout out to Roman!), small group coaching calls, and getting to connect with some of the other members in the community space. While I've technically worked in product for a long time, as I mentioned above it was in a non-traditional sense so I didn't know how to talk about my experiences in ways that I felt were going to resonate, or what was going to be asked of or expected of me during the interview process. It was scary and intimidating to apply for positions at companies that operated in ways that I wasn't familiar with. When one is sitting at a computer just staring at job postings and submitting your resume in what often feels like a time vacuum, and preparing for interviews where you can be asked only God who knows what, I discovered it can be very easy to feel disheartened, and kind of lost and alone. Product Gym and its members gave me a safe place to ask what I felt were sometimes really "dumb" questions, allowed me to hear other people's questions and what their experiences were like, Rich dropped so many helpful examples and gems of wisdom during group calls, and super member (and all-around super guy) Dennis gave me peace of mind when I was nervous about my first case study presentation and some great tools and insights to help me with various stages of my interviewing process. Their other resources like their pre-recorded courses are great too, so don't skip those! I utilized a lot of the modules as well and will be revisiting them time and again, I'm sure. 

The PG Team makes it clear that this is Product GYM, not Product Spa, and you get out of it what you put into it. I still recommend supplementing your job search with other resources like YouTube (PG has their own YT channel, by the way), as PG has a ton of resources and is always adding more, but it's impossible to be everything to everyone. This being said, PG on its own is a great resource to have in your toolkit and I can honestly say that if you show up, do the work, and take advantage of what they have to offer, Product Gym can be incredibly valuable and will be worth far more to you than what you initially invest in it. Product Gym has helped me get 3 offers of positions higher than what I was targeting within 3 months.

Being very new to PM, i loved their program structure as it was inclusive and easy to navigate, regardless of someone’s experience in Product Management. Their staff is cordial and very supportive. Shoutout to Cody Chang and Jermaine McClellan :)

I joined Product Gym(PG) in April of 2022, looking to make the transition into product management and like most of you reading this now I read all the amazing reviews with a slight sense of doubt as to if it would really work for me given that my career background was one that was somewhat unconventional. I had also looked at other options on the market but what set PG apart for me was the fact that they really focused on the interview process, which was not something I heard being talked about a lot with some of the other programs I was exploring. For me personally in my past experiences my biggest challenge whenever it came to finding a job was simply actually getting interviews, and so it was mainly because of that value proposition that PG claimed to offer that sold me on the program.
As I started in the program, I am not going to lie, the first 4-6 weeks were extremely hard, because it requires a lot of time and effort to really dig down and get through the preparation and  training especially if you don't come from a field that is a natural transition point into product. But I stuck with it and followed the clearly outlined process to the letter and as time went on I started to see the results. By the end of the first month I was already getting multiple first round interviews requests a week, and over a 3 month period I probably averaged about 5-7 first round interviews a week, not to mention the ones that went on to subsequent rounds from there. This for me alone was worth the price of admission because as I mentioned I never ever used to get interviews, and so I am confident that if this could work for me then it could work for anyone else in a similar situation. 
So here we are, it is now August of 2022 and I have secured a job with a company that I am really excited to be working with. During this time I saw it happening for other people in the program but I still had that doubt in the back of my mind as to whether it would actually happen for me until it finally did. It’s still kind of surreal to me that in just over 3 months I made a complete career transition, where I will be earning significantly more than I did prior to enrolling in PG. Again it's really hard work and not an insignificant financial investment but the return on that investment has made it worth it in every way. 
I’m not one to usually write reviews but I am writing this because I know how this program has helped change the trajectory of my career and for anyone that is on the fence know that if you follow the process and put in the work you will most likely see results. Thank you PG!

Product Gym has essentially perfected the process of transitioning to Product Management. PG provide you with the technical skills, interviewing skills, and, most importantly, the necessary mindset to successfully navigate the PM job search. The PG community is supportive and willing to share their experiences to help you improve. The Product Gym approach really works! You will get job offers if you follow their step-by-step advice and tips... but it does require hard work and dedication to the process. The system has been clearly laid out by Product Gym but if you're not willing to put in the effort daily to progress, you won't get the results that you want. Lastly, I appreciate that it is a lifetime membership, which definitely makes the investment worth it! Read less

I was looking at a variety of options initially and ended up following through with Product Gym (PG) mainly due to its insanely positive reviews. While it is tempting to dismiss the perfect ratings as suspicious (as one would naturally be when something has all 5-star reviews), I still took that risk and went ahead with PG. ... Boy, it was and still is the best investment I have made thus far since looking to transition into product. Not only was PG worth my entire investment, but it actually does deliver what it promises it will, given you adhere to their protocols and guidelines when it comes to getting a product position (or, at the very least, an offer). I was a bit skeptical at first, seeing that my background is something I wouldn't necessarily anticipate would transfer to product well, if at all (I worked in the upper echelons of Hollywood/show business), but the fact that I still managed to pull in several interviews (and then some) proves that PG does, in fact, offer a proven, time-tested strategy in breaking into product regardless of your relevant background. Now that I am here writing this review, looking back at all the "suspicious 5-star reviews," I can attest that they are not suspicious at all and, in fact, all well-deserved reviews that truly represent the sheer flawlessness of PG's system and strategy. Product Gym is a very valuable program. It is total value for money, though the initial investment may seem high but landing job offers with much higher salaries helps achieve a high ROI. It offers one thing that other places miss - a focus on mindset to get through the tough journey of learning new skills and landing lucrative jobs. Along with the great coursework, awesome community, and super helpful staff, Product Gym made me feel fully equipped to start interviewing. With their approach, I was doing 6-7 interviews per week and landed an offer and more final rounds set up. I feel very grateful for all the direction and support.

Product Gym offers one thing that other places miss - a focus on mindset. Prior to joining Product Gym, I had been apologizing for my “lack of direct product experience” and hoping hiring managers would “take a risk on me”. After joining Product Gym, I began to understand that no one needed to take a risk on me because I already had the skills and tools I needed to a great product manager - I just needed to recognize that before others could. 
This shift entirely changed the way I approached my resume, my interviews, and my overall attitude to the job search process. Before joining Product Gym, I was lost. My experience was all over the place, I was applying for different kinds of positions to see what is out there and never really got past recruiter rounds. I read about Product Managers and really like what I saw, so I decided to give PG a try after reading all these great reviews, and I can only say – WHY DIDN’T I JOIN EARLIER!
The whole process is not easy. You will need to put in the work and hours. You will want to learn, especially if you have never been a product manager before. You will need to get used to rejections. I’ll have to say this though, I used to beat myself up with every rejection, but with PG’s process, I didn't really have the time to sulk!
I definitely learned a lot about product management as I went through the program and really appreciate the support that is there, not only from the PG team, but also the other folks that are in the program as well.
If you are contemplating whether to join, just do it!

I joined Product Gym after getting disappointed and wasting my money on Product School. The approach that Rich and Cody take to help people to get their first product management job is practical & effective. The entire curriculum is based on the learning and implemented immediately model which is different from other providers where you have to go through the whole curriculum first and then career-related services come into the picture. According to me the best part of Product Gym is lifelong access to materials and community. I always recommend product gym to people looking to start their career in Product Management. Read less

PG is simply at another level of its understanding about the hiring process. They know the exact process to get you hired and perform well as a PM. The process is tough and demands a lot of hard work and dedication. 

 However, if you put the hard work as expected in the 'GYM' as it is referred to, you will get the results. The program is structured really well to pay attention to every minute detail that goes into the job search. The course structure is good enough for you to learn the concepts and enable the candidate to not just land and offer but to do well in the role.

Only con: Sometimes you feel lost in first 2-3 weeks about the next steps. A little more interaction would help in that phase. Although after that you are on cruise control :)

It's been a great honour to be part of the Product Gym community. I'm a big fan of what the founders said "This is Product Gym, not Product Spa". Honestly, I didn't quite understand the statement at the beginning, but now I believe it makes perfect sense, really!

As a Product Manager, we not only have to master the product knowledge and principles, but also we need to build the foundations of the product mindset. Indeed, helping professionals from various backgrounds build a solid product mindset is one of the key differentiators between Product Gym and other Product Management training programs. Once you've built the product mindset, it opens up a whole new outlook and keeps you motivated in the product world.

In fact, everyone is truly a Product Manager of your own and everyday you're building yourself as a "Product" along the journey of your life. You constantly experience the ups and downs, but meanwhile you work hard to be nimble and robust to reach your product goals at scale, which, I believe, is the most valuable lesson I have learned from Product Gym.

Being a product manager already I had some initial reservations coming into Product Gym as I had been getting some interviews and was getting some interest, but after is when things really blew up. They really helped me nail down my messaging, revamp all my content, and ace the case study interview. You can honestly even get 10+ interviews a week and really find a job that you like and want rather than just what's there.

I cannot recommend them enough for anyone on the fence about whether the investment is worth it. Read less

Going through this program gave me the knowledge and the confidence I needed to land a product manager role! Before starting Product Gym, I was in a dead end Administration position and incredibly burnt out, working such long hours for pay that I could barely survive on.In looking for a career that my skills could transfer into, I discovered product management.A really great thing about Product Gym is that they offer an initial discovery call where they meet with you, and talk about your background and skills and assess if you're a good match for the program before you're approved to sign up.The program is a treasure trove of all of the different aspects that you need to know about product management, all taught by different part-time instructors that are actively practicing their craft, and guidance/advice is available through coaches and some alumni that have made their way through this program.A few things to be keenly aware of:*This program doesn't work if you don't. Guidance for nearly every aspect or problem that you could think of is very accessible, but there is no hand holding involved. *Once you commit and start, don't stop. ProductGym is REALLY WORKS!! I had ZERO experience coming from Accounting background. Joining PG has been the best decision I made since I decided to change my career and move into product management.
