I found TTS through a local networking event where a regional representative told me about the bootcamps offered, and I decided to enroll in the Full Stack Web Development course. I had the absolute best time in this course! I learned so much about front-end and back-end development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as specialized frameworks to create beautiful web pages and interactive applications. The back-end education and concepts we went over during our object-oriented programming in Java section were also incredibly valuable to me since I do not have a computer science degree. Overall, I would definitely recommend TTS to others who want to change careers or supplement their knowledge because the comprehensive nature of the bootcamp really allowed me to feel confident saying that I am now a full stack developer. Also the TTS community is extremely friendly, and they have been wonderful on a personal level.

Things which can be improved:
Since it is a very personal experience and it very much depends on everyone's self, I still think that the BootCamp can be a bit more intense. Sometimes there was a bit too much free time between the classes. This time could have been used to dive into details or to teach additional technologies.
But nonetheless, I would definitely come for another BootCamp to Spiced as every Teacher is such a cool person!

I knew which module would be targeted and learning concepts were provided beforehand for me to get a better grip on concepts. A huge shoutout to the bootcamp instructor Bharadwaj (Bharat) Janarthanan and TAs Divya and Sunil for their unwavering support and guidance throughout the course. This course is fast paced (as most concepts are covered withing a 6 month period but the groundwork laid by the coursework is excellent. I highly encourage individuals looking to break into Data Analytics to consider this. I really enjoyed my time at iO Academy. I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not diI really enjoyed my time at iO Academy. I chose this bootcamp mostly because it seemed to me that they proposed the most complete curriculum and they did not disappoint! It was a very intense learning experience, but it is delivered in the best conditions:- small cohorts (up to 8 students) so it is always possible to ask questions and interact with the trainers
- amazing trainers, always available and supportive
- carefully crafted curriculum, it really felt like they refined it year after year to find the best way and timing to go through the curriculum, so I never felt overwhelmed
I also want to point out that they put a really big emphasis on how to work as a software engineer (e.g. working in an Agile team) and not just how to code. I found this extremely valuable (maybe more than the coding?) as it is a huge part of the job and I arrived in my 1st software engineer position really well prepared and knowing what to expect. On the coding side, they were dedicated to teaching us best coding practices. I am currently working in my 1st position as a software developer and so far my line manager has been pleasantly surprised by how much I've learned at iO Academy!
It took me a 4/5 months to land a job but the job market is a bit tough at the moment. I got some valuable advice from their career consultant which helped me land my current position. I would not necessarily expect to just walk into a job straight after the bootcamp (some of the students of my cohort did though!). iO Academy was definitely worth the time and the investment, and I would totally do it again!

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. My learning path in the course was Java, and then using a bit of react and javascript. My job after Zip Code is based entirely in C# and Angular. I was nervous at first but after my first day and looking through codebases, I realized that anything I didn't understand about what I was looking through, I knew how to learn about, because Zip Code ensured that. They do a good job of letting you speak up as you need help, rather than assuming everyone wants the same kind of assistance. In addition to the staff supporting you when you have questions, ZCW always reiterates the importance of working as a team of peers. The expectation is almost never that you can't share information, and almost always a matter of sharing knowledge you've gained with others in the course who haven't picked those skills up yet. It's a very busy 3 months, but they're incredibly worth it.

You really work intensively everyday and learn different areas that englobe Data Science and the instructors are trying to implement new aspects to be uptodate, you have classes and right after you jump into solving different problems related to the class and that is where you learn. I also can say that I appreciate that the bootcamp has also invested on the human part of integrating the class and making sure there is social aspects added to it makes it even better. Also, they have a strong focus on helping students into understanding the job market, improve our cv, LinkedIn and understand how that process works in real life.
I also strongly recommend if you have not had any previous coding experience that you merge a little before the course. It is a beginners courses so you will be fine but you will leverage more with a solid base of understanding-

Before making my decision, I researched many private courses and programs at other universities. I can tell you that this is the most comprehensive and balanced program at a competitive fee. At others schools, you get a third of the material from this course for the same price. Another important factor is the excellent reputation of Columbia University as one of the most prestigious universities not only in the US but the world. This translates into the quality of its educational programs and teaching staff. Also, this certificate program allows one to attend classes in the evening so as not to interfere with one’s job. It’s very convenient for those working individuals who want to further develop their UX/UI skills or change their profession altogether.
Why did I choose the UX/UI Design program? I have a degree in web design, programming, and computer graphics. However, I did very little work in this area, more often as a freelancer, as this was not my main job. I received my diploma 10 years ago and a lot of what I learned then became outdated. Back then there wasn’t even a concept of UX/ UI. I decided to go back to doing UX/UI as I feel that this is an area I can excel in. Knowing what I needed to learn for my future job made it easier for me to choose this course. I advise anyone who wants to change their profession and doesn’t know where to start to sign up for Columbia Engineering UX/UI Boot Camp. I can assure you for sure that you will get a good starting base knowledge of UX/UI. During the course, you will create a personal portfolio which is not so easy to do on your own, especially if you are not familiar with web design and user research. There were about 30 people in a class and 1 instructor and 2 TAs. The course was remote and taught over Zoom used with Slack. I was able to learn multiple concepts needed to become a Full Stack Developer. We would get assignments that we were put in a breakout room to complete and get experience after the instructor finished teaching the concept. The instructors and TAs would join the rooms and help us with any difficulties.
Some other perks I found helpful was the fact that I was assigned a tutor who I could work one on one with for an hour every week, I got experience collaborating with other people on projects, I received feedback on my career materials, and I got assigned a career coach I could meet with after graduation to assist with the job search.
Only complaint I have is that some of the other people in my class were lazy and not very intelligent and wouldn't help with projects and managed to be a burden. I don't mind helping people out when they run into problems when they pay attention to what I am saying and learn. I had some people who I helped out in the Boot Camp who were genuinely trying to improve and ended up becoming better after I helped them and it made them willing to help me out but I wasted hours trying to teach certain people simple concepts that they couldn't understand after they wouldn't put any effort into the class. This isn't entirely the fault of the school as they had a process of checking the people who applied. This is something that will happen anywhere though and it is good to know how to handle situations like this in life.
I am able to recommend the Boot Camp and say that it was helpful for me. I am currently seeking a job and can say that I have received good help with programming and job seeking.
