There's in-depth instruction across all the fundamentals of Data Science - from statistics and probability to the implementation of deep learning networks. For someone without a formal background in any of the subjects, it was definitely challenging. However, if you're truly committed to the process, you will not regret it.
After graduation, Concordia offers a series of workshops and lectures, as well as individual coaching from their in-house career coaches. They really set you up to succeed in your job search and help provide all the tools and direction you need to market yourself effectively to employers, and shine through the interview process.
I highly recommend Concordia to anyone looking to make a life-changing move into a career in tech.

I was extremely worried starting the program because I had a previous bad experience with another SE Bootcamp called FlatIron because they didn't actually teach you any lessons in the bootcamp and only offered minimum support for learning the concepts, so I wasn't sure what to expect going into Code Platoon's program. However, I had absolutely no reason to worry because Code Platoon is far superior to the other bootcamp and the staff genuinely care about their students and will put the time in to make sure you understand the topics and concepts. The instructors presented the lectures in ways that made it easy to follow and ask questions and if you didn't understand they'd break the concept down a different way to help make it clear. They always encouraged questions and class participation and were always available to offer assistance to students if you are struggling. I felt as though they really cared about ensuring each one of us in our cohort was successful in the program. They also offer a robust curriculum that prepares you with the fundamentals as well as languages such as Django, PostgreSQL, Flask, React, etc. We also always had TAs available to help us during class hours and after hours to ensure we weren't getting stuck on problems or issues. During the program they also setup Beyond Tech Talks and brought in employers to prepare us for topics we needed to know going into a tech career. Finally, their Career Services and Job Assistance also goes above and beyond as they incorporate several topics like behavioral interviews, technical interviews, job search best practices, etc to make sure we are prepared for job searching as soon as we complete the program. We also got to talk to employers like Google and DFR to learn about interviewing process best practices and what to expect in your first role. During the program they also set you up with a mentor and a volunteer resume coach to offer you additional support and resources. Code Platoon truly goes above and beyond to make sure their students are setup for success. As I stated above, this bootcamp is top notch and by far the best bootcamp out there for active duty military members and their families, as well as veterans and their families. I'm so grateful I was given the opportunity to complete this bootcamp. They also offer a variety of ways to pay for the program so you have flexibility. You won't regret attending this bootcamp!

Y siempre me parece que vale la pena destacar la predisposicion que han tenido para resolver situaciones, a veces se ha podido resolver en el momento y otras se toman las concideraciones para un futuro. Habiendo cumplido el Boot, debo decir que para mi el mismo mantuvo siempre el nivel de intensivo y eso hizo que la exigencia siempre fuera pareja y durante los 4 meses me senti como si estuviera dentro de una empresa. Si la pregunta es lo recomendaria?? Si altamente, pero siempre hay que aclarar que lo intensivo va de la mano del nivel.

When i was researching other programs in my area, I couldn't find any that had the comprehensive support that Prime has for its students and alumni. To include career support as part of the program is rare but at Prime it's just another piece of the puzzle. I felt that in 20 weeks of the program, I absorbed so much. My instructors for the Full Stack program were so helpful. The saying is at Prime it is a fire hose turned up to 100. It's an intense, full time program that demands a lot of it's students. I did a lot of researching when deciding which bootcamp to attend. I decided on this one because the languages and Stack aligned with my desired list of technologies I wanted to learn. However, I received so much more than I expected. My Instructors were, and have been very attentive to all of my questions and struggles. My career coach has guided me every step of the way through job search. She has always been available when I need to talk. The staff as a whole is nothing but attentive and supportive. And even though I have completed my training and career search, they are still there for me. As I am starting my new and first role as a software developer, my instructor is supporting me through my required learning. When they say they support you and give you every tool available to succeed, they mean it. I cannot say enough good things about them. I will also mention that I was a virtual student in a class of in-person students. The instructors made sure that I was included in all class interactions and exercises. I have made so many friends and connections through this experience. It has truly been life changing for me and my family.
