_nology is a global tech training and talent provider offering a 12-week, full-time, online Cloud Engineer. The course covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TDD, Google Cloud, Docker & Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Networking. _nology aims to tackle the skills shortage and lack of diversity within the tech sector by breaking down the barriers to entry and making space for everyone, regardless of their background.

No previous coding experience is required to apply for the Software Developer Training Course. _nology assesses applicants based on their potential, not whether they have experience in tech. Applicants should be passionate about technology, creative problem-solvers, self-starters, hardworking, and ready to learn.

Upon successful completion of the training cohort, _nologists receive a conditional job placement. Graduates are deployed as Junior Cloud Engineers or a Junior Software Developers (dependent on the training cohort joined) on an 18-month placement with one of _nology’s UK clients in an office-based, hybrid, or remote role. The starting salary is £26,000 with pay rises every 6 months. During this 18-month client placement, _nologists gain practical experience working on a variety of exciting projects as part of a real tech team. The Talent Team will be on hand throughout the placement to support and provide further coaching, with check-ins at week 1 and week 2, and monthly thereafter.

    Life changer!

The 12 week web development course with _nology was the start of such a journey for me. Having followed a career in West End Musical Theatre, I was starting the course with absolutely no experience in coding. The combination of really getting stuck in and having the most amazing coaches for support meant I learnt so much in such a short space of time. Starting to code in May and then graduating in August led me onto my first job in tech in September. A crazy but fantastic journey and one...

    A great start for a full-stack developer

I attended the 14-week Deutsche Bank ‘tech accelerator programme’ run by nology, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time during the course.

The curriculum included everything you need to become a full stack developer, including HTML, CSS, JS, Angular and Java. The course was very fast paced but there was plently of time to consolidate your knowledge and push yourself further once you understood, to give yourself more of a challenge. I loved the format of having taught content from the t...

A great way to land on your feet!

I had a wonderful 12 weeks at Nology, and left the course with an incredible job ready to go. The more employers have exposure to the past and present students, the more interest they seem to be showing. So it is a fantastic way to not only learn how to code in JavaScrippt but to also learn about workplace best practies and then move into an exciting career with loads of potential. The trainers will push you to get the most out of the course, but they are fantastic and really supportive! I...

    Awesome Learning experience

I have completed the 12-week Nology bootcamp and had an absolute blast learning to be a developer.

The course is intense, and you will be pushed hard throughout, however the extremely experienced trainers and the close-knit group of students working together through the course really do help make great graduates at the end.

The course provides not only excellent coding skills but something I have found to be amazingly beneficial when interviewing for roles is the experi...

Technical Skills and Real Industry Knowledge

The course is an immersive experience into the world of tech and programming, with the real difference here being a focus on employability at the same time. I saw myself and other students advance in terms of our technical skill, and finish the 12 week boot-camp feeling ready to enter the industry as a junior developer.

At times the course is challenging, of course that is what you want. There is a huge network of mentoring both before, during and after the course and that is wha...

An excellent opportunity to start a tech career!

My 12 weeks at _nology were incredibly enjoyable, and I have come out of it with so many more skills than when I began. The course is structured really well, and the engaging methods of training are super effective at getting the best out of every single person on the course.

The overall working atmosphere was a massive positive. Everybody is happy to help everybody else, and there is a real emphasis on making everybody the best developer that they can become in the 12 weeks. Col...

    Great outcomes with job support

I had to quit my job in the middle of lockdown to complete the 12 weeks full time course which was one of the most scary things I have ever done in my life. It was super challenging yet  great investment in myself. I got a job a month after graduation and had great job support throughout. I am so glad i did it and I highly recommend it if you wanna jump into a practical tech course that gets you a job after studying.

    Long term review - scam

While my experience with the course, coaches and cohort was generally positive I found that the curriculum didn't realistically reflect what coding languages and experience would be needed in the workforce. For example, a few months following my 'graduation' from this course, they went back on their word and essentially said the language we prepared you most in is now completely irrelevant and want you to focus on xyz (of which we had really only had 1 day of training on, bearing in mind...

    Waste of time

Absolute waste of time. After the course finished, only 1 person got placement. Most didn’t even get a single interview. Avoid.

    Doesn't worth the price

I attended Nology London campus (January - April 2020). Entry criteria was super lenient. During the assessment day, you build a small game and coach would asses your problem solving approach. Pre-course was based on some videos on Youtube. I did not receive any feedback for pre-course technical tasks.. Though, before joining the course I were told to have a  mentor.

In my cohort, we  only learned Javascript  and React. whereas, the course outlines I received, included  REDEX and...

We often hear the question, “What’s the best bootcamp to get a job?” Of course, some students will always attend a bootcamp for fun or to learn something new, but according to Course Report research, ~91% of students attend a bootcamp in order to get a job. Coding Bootcamps won’t “give” you a job, but a legitimate bootcamp should be career-focused and outcomes-oriented. This means that the cu...

Having a learning disability doesn’t preclude you from learning how to code or launching your tech career. And considering that 1 in 5 people have learning or attention issues, it’s prudent for bootcamps to support all types of learners. Plus, the more neurodiverse folks work in tech, the more likely the principles of web and design accessibility will spread across tech – and that benefits ev...
