Caltech Bootcamps
Caltech offers online bootcamps covering topics like DevOps (36 weeks), Data Science & Business Analytics (24 weeks), AI & Machine Learning (24 weeks), Cloud Computing (24 weeks), Software Development (24 weeks), and Blockchain (24 weeks). These bootcamps are for individuals who are interested in learning more specialized topics or are interested in upskilling to a new career. Students will complete projects throughout the course to give them real-world experience in their chosen course of study. These Caltech programs are a mixture of self-paced videos, live remote classes, hands-on projects, and labs. Students will have access to mentorship sessions.
The DevOps bootcamp covers topics like methodology, continuous delivery, configuration management, containerization, and DevOps on cloud. The Data Science & Business Analytics bootcamp covers topics like data analytics, data visualization, model building, descriptive statistics, and deep learning. The AI & Machine Learning bootcamp covers topics like deep learning, neural networks, GANs, and natural language processing.The Cloud Computing bootcamp covers topics like autoscaling, migration, workloads, disaster recovery, and database management. The Software Development bootcamp covers topics like HTML, CSS, Java, JSP, Angular, MongoDB, and Agile. The Blockchain bootcamp covers topics like smart contracts, consensus, cryptography, cryptocurrency, distributed ledgers, and Etherium.
These bootcamps are open to students with bachelor’s degrees. All bootcamps (except for DevOps and Cloud Computing) require prior knowledge of programming. The AI and Data Science bootcamps require experience in mathematics. Work experience is preferred, but not required. Students that meet the criteria are not required to interview in order to be accepted into the bootcamp.
Career support is not included in the curriculum.

AWS DevOps
So far this course has been great. The instruction is very knowledgeable and skilled in using DevOps. The cost vs the length of the program to me is a great value. The instructor's job is to teach but the students also need to do their part to study and take ownership of the learning process. No one can teach you everything at once but they can give you the foundation that you need to continue the learning process on your own. Wonderful Module to learn SQL
I had tried to learn SQL multiple times but failed. The step-by-step process adopted by the teacher, Amit Goyal, was incredible. Over six weekends, I was able to run basic queries, and now, as I practice more, I am able to write queries for much more complex use cases. - Instructor Expertise: The instructor(s) clearly had a deep understanding of the subject and explained complex topics in a digestible manner. They used visuals, code walk-throughs, and examples that made learning easier.
- Community & Support: The forums were active, and TAs or fellow learners were often quick to respond. Having that support system made a big difference, especially when tackling more advanced topics.

Poor communication skills of trainer and not clear on concepts
Review is for PGC AIML Feb 2025 Cohort 1 - The trainer DK, seems to be fine for the "programming refresher" course. But beyond that he doesn't seem comfortable with the topics. Most of the times he is confused and communication is very poor. I found the syllabus and the teaching style of professor good. Curriculum is meticulously designed. The course content dives deep into AI, machine learning, deep learning, data science, and even NLP.
